Chamberlain Landscaping

We contracted Todd Chamberlain to winterize our sprinkler system and repair a runoff problem with our water. In the process, his company moved and replanted a tree that has since died. He also failed to cut the water off on the sprinkler system which in turn caused a broken pipe, and a large water bill of $706.68. $600.02 of this was due to the irrigation system and the busted pipe. We showed Mr. Chamberlain a copy of our water bill and he refused to compensate us for his negligence. He also had one of his employees install a drain to catch the runoff water, and he dug a trench and ran black tubing under the ground beside the fence to carry the water to the end of the yard, which was upon recommendation of one of his employees named Ike. Unfortunately the black tubing was not extended far enough, or deep enough. Therefore, we had a huge gaping hole that was over six feet wide where the black tubing stopped.. We contacted Mr. Chamberlain and showed him pictures of the gaping hole and asked him to come back to repair it. He said it was due to the large amounts of rain we had and did not want to fix it. We have lived in our house since September 2004 and have had numerous high amounts of rain with Muddy Creek coming up in our backyard and have never had a hole develop like this! The hole is from the water draining from the piping. We were very disappointed when we contacted Todd about this, he said he would come out and give us a QUOTE to repair it, when he should have fixed it since it wasn't done correctly. We paid him $720 in December and are not satisfied with his work. After many attempts to have him come fill in the gaping hole, he did finally have someone from his company fill in the hole with dirt. Within a week that dirt started washing away, and we have a huge gaping hole again. We contacted Todd again and he refuses to come back and fix this dangerous hole that will eventually make our fence fall in. There was also a hole in the black piping going down the hill that never got repaired. His solution was to place a large rock over top of it. What kind of repair is that? We give Chamberlain Landscaping and Lawn Care a very low rating. We did not get high quality work or a high level of service. Chamberlains work ethic and sense of integrity is a joke. We have had nothing but problems since his company stepped foot in our yard, so we definitely do not have any peace of mind, having worked with him!!! And he guarantees the work? Look at the attached pictures of the job Chamberlain landscaping did!!! We will have to hire another landscaping company to fix the problems his company created. He does not stand by his work, or his word, and we would never recommend him to anyone.
