The setup went much longer than expected, and also cost considerably more than advertised. The salesman continuously tried to up-sell me on more and more sensors and features, Once it was set-up, it mostly worked, but had 2 early false alarms due to the sensitivity not being set correctly. In hindsight, installation was so simple for the salesmen that at our new home I've decided to go with a DIY alarm, spent much less money on the initial product, and spend much less per month for monitoring.

The service was good but to be honest the equipment is subpar. The motion detector system was not working and the fire alarm tripped randomly in the middle of the night. They are very responsive but the equipment is a bit faulty. It seems to be fixed now.

Everything went very well. It took use forever to get to the price we wanted but we were able to get there after a number of calls.

I recently stopped using ADT. They are a large company and their customer service is no good at all. They are like a Columbia House record type company. You can never get them to stop providing you with services and canceling is a pain. I would not ever use them again. They are not professional and I felt like I was dealing with a big cell phone company or something like that.

I have no major problems with ADT. I do think they could lower their prices a little. I have heard that some companies only charge about twenty dollars each month and we pay closer to thirty. Otherwise, we have never had an emergency, but if we have any problems we can get in touch with them. Someone always answers the phone there or if we have questions, they are sure to answer them. I think they do care about their reputation and keeping their customers happy so I am pleased with them.

The best thing about them is their quick response time when the alarm is set off. Even though it was a false alarm, it was good to know that they were right on the ball. I would happily tell other Angie's List members to use this security contractor.

Kay gave us the estimate for the new alarm system in renovated home. She was really nice and took plenty of time to explain the system. For anyone looking at getting a new system, understand the difference between getting a wireless and hardwired. The wireless sounds better but all it means is, it will be more visible to you and that's not something we liked. It's the same cost either way. Fortunately this company was able to do hardwired after we saw the installation of the wireless. They changed it out at no cost fortunately otherwise we would not have been happy. Good people, good system. No complaints other than a little unnecessary damage to floor board.

WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE PROFESSIONAL WAY THIS CREW HANDLED THE INSTALLATION. THEY WERE POLITE AND WERE HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING THE WAY THE SYSTEM WORKED. WE HAVE NEVER HAD TO USE THE ALARMS, BUT THEY CHECK IT OFTEN

THEY ARE AN EXTREMELY RELIABLE COMPANY. THEIR WORKERS ARE EXTREMELY COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO EVERYONE AROUND THE AREA.

THEY EXPLAINED FULLY HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS AND DEMONSTRATED IT FOR US. WE HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT THE COMPANY WILL CONTINUE TO GIVE GOOD SERVICE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

They were wonderful, because they came on time and worked quickly. They also have very reasonable rates for reactivating alarms. I will be using them again if the need arises.

ADT was very professional. I felt they were courteous and they got the job done. I would recommend them to others.
