GALLERY OF FLOWERS INC

I ordered a very large bouquet of flowers through 1800FLOWERS.com for my mom to be delivered on that Saturday before Mother's Day (for which I paid extra.) The total amount was $150.00 for the flowers and $20 for delivery. In Wilson, this should have been an extremely nice bouquet. ...I received an email on Saturday, May 7, stating that the flowers had been delivered. When I called my mom on Sunday morning, the flowers had, in fact, not been delivered. This was very disappointing and made me wonder who was not telling the truth...1800FLOWERS.com or Gallery of Flowers. When the flowers were finally delivered that afternoon, it was a very small bouquet...small enough that my mom was able to hold it in one hand and take a photo with the other. The extra large bouquet that I had actually ordered would have taken two hands, even for a man. This bouquet had a dozen flowers...at most, and was worth maybe $50.00...maybe! ...I immediately complained to 1800FLOWERS who did refund my charge. However, I am now very leery of using this type of service, and I will never use Gallery of Flowers in Wilson, North Carolina again. I can't help believe that they were hoping the recipient wouuld never mention how puny the bouquet was and that I would never know how deceitful this florist is...or at least was with this order..
