- Kadie had been treated for 4 yrs with cancer. He gave her good quality of life thru treatments that were holistic and traditional.
- He first calmed out pet and examined her speaking slowly. We were in the room and comforting her. He asked if we were sure knowing only pain was ahead and she was losing bladder control and moaning from pain.
He gave her a sedative shot and waited a bit til she was very limp and then administered the heart stopping drug. WE were very sad, upset and he left us to grieve alone with our pet. He arranged the cremation service he found the best and we left after some 20 minutes. His willingness to dignify our grief meant so much. If ever we get another dog, we certainly would go to Dr Brad Kerr.
Dr.Brad Kerr provided excellent care for our Pug (Kadie) since moving to the area in 2009. In late 2010 he discovered a small lump on her front leg during a routine check-up that proved to be cancer and it had already spread to her lymph nodes. Over the course of the next 3 1/2 years Dr. Kerr outlined treatment options and helped us decide what approach was best for Kadie. With his excellent care, traditional as well as alternative treatment her life didn't get so hard until the last few months. We really appreciated the options he provided and his kind and informative manner. He certainly was most compassionate when we had to euthanize her, the hardest thing any pet owner has to face.
Dr Kerr is a DVM with other degrees in Holistic therapies and Chinese therapies. He treats animals total health for long term benefit in all ways which is sorely needed for our furry companions.
We did have our dog cremated and had her ashes put in urn by an outside company for additional charge.
