WEED MAN

First let me say that I have been with Weedman for over 15 years. There have been a few instances, but they were always very nice, professional and fixed the issue. They came to spray my yard a couple of weeks ago, the weeds in my back yard are out of control. I called on Monday and they told me someone would be at my house yesterday to respray. I called this morning because the guy never went in my back yard. I have cameras and can prove that! He never sprayed anything on my yard just walked around my side yard and looked at my front yard. I called this morning to discuss this and got Richard in customer service. Instead of helping me, he laughed at me and told me I could take my business elsewhere. What GREAT customer service I received this morning! Wonder how many more people are like me and PAY for a service and DO NOT receive it.

I had 2 previous companies with no luck. I decided to try Weed Man after seeing what they did with my neighbors yard. Weed Man was able to turn my lawn around quicker than anyone else and now my lawn is beautiful. Highly recommend. Thanks Weed Man!

I’ve had yard services for years in another city with great results. The technician was clearly not treating a big section of my yard as the front had no weeds but the back was over whelmed with weeds after a year and 1/2 of treatments. When I called them they did come out and kill them but by that time the grass was in bad shape. They are fired.

We use Weed Man for lawn maintenance.  It's $59 per treatment; we have a contract with them.  I think that they're a little overpriced for what they do and a lot of their add-ons are a little way too overpriced.  I used to live in Memphis and we had other options for lawn care, and they had a little bit more built in, like built-ins to the contract where you didn't have to pay additional.  In comparison to that, it's a lot different.  They're pretty prompt.  They come pretty quick, and in and out.  I just don't really have a lot of the time to do a lot of price shopping around.

I wasn't supposed to have any weeds, I was supposed to have beautiful green grass and I didn't have beautiful green grass, but I surely did have weeds. They give you a price upfront, but they don't tell you that is just the basic price. They don't tell you that every time you need something extra you're going to be charged for that. To someone who may be looking to use this provider, I would tell to check with some satisfied customers because this was a very dissatisfied customers.

They found moles in my yard. So they had to treat for moles. Whether I had moles or whether I didn't, that was an extra hundred dollars to treat for the moles because if you don't do that they suggest that you do then they would go, "You wouldn't let us do such and such and so that is the reason that the rest of the stuff didn't work." I'm on a price that includes everything, they nickel and dimed me to death. up. The only way I knew they had been, I would find something hanging on my front door, telling me that they had been up here for 3 minutes or 5 minutes or 2 minutes. To someone who may be looking to use this provider, I would tell that I would go elsewhere, that they could check with some other customers and maybe some other customers had had a much better experience.

I have weeds everywhere, snails and grubs. Called and emailed the company, even sent photos with no response back from them.  Very disappointed.  

He did tell me to bring my dog inside and I should keep him inside for an hour. I appreciated that. Nothing has died in the yard, so he is supposed to come back out. He said he would come on Monday morning and he did. I won't use him again if the weeds don't get taken care of.

I am terribly disappointed in this company.  My lawn is ruined.  I have a centipede lawn, and I was careful to inform the company of this fact.  I explained that they were not to use nitrogen on my lawn.  Whatever "treatments" they used, killed my whole lawn and left nothing but weeds.  Yes,  they are truly the Weedman and that is not a compliment.  I typically received a call on my answering machine letting me know that someone would be out to "do the lawn" the next day.  I never saw anyone come to my house during the year that I used them.  I have lived in this residence for eleven years.  After Weedman was finished with my lawn, it had more weeds than it had ever had in the past eleven years, plus my lawn is dead.    I complained in January that I wanted to be home when the next treatment was done.  I was not called, but a "treatment" was said to have been done anyway. even though I cancelled service in January 2011. 
To make matters worse, the company that had given me treatments the previous year had sold the company, but nobody told me.   I sent a check for $71.25, but the new company said it had never received it.  I read them the check number and the account number I had written on the check.  I was never told they were new owners.  My account was sent to a collection agency.  The agency said it would "look into it."  I never heard from the collection agency or the company until I tried to get a credit card.  My request was refused because of an unpaid  bill.  This bill was for Weedman.  My credit score dropped from an 800 to a 704 in less than three months because of this company.  When I called Weedman to find out what had happened, I was given no information other than I owed the bill and it was sold to a collection agency.  I called the collection agency which found out that Weedman had changed hands in January 2011.  I also found out that the referenced account number was for the old company.  No one told me that I had sent the money to the previous owners.  I did not find this out until October 2011.  I feel that I was horribly treated and then I was blamed for their mishandling of the situation.   The woman who answered the phone at Weedman refused to give me her name, but she made a lot of smart comments to me and refused to hear me out.  I wouldn't deal with this company again.  They're dangerous.

I want to make it clear that I had no contact with this company and did not authorize them to conduct any service. I cancelled my service with this company in the middle of January but they still came out on January 31st. They cannot prove that they came out on this date, they don't even know who came out to do the job.

They call before they come so I can put my dogs up. They do a good job. The technicians are courteous.
