I am new to the area and dreaded trying to find someone to maintain my style. I decided to try the Rockin and Roller Salon based on Angie List reviews and was happy with my cut.  I have been able to easily book an appointment at the times I want with Brittany. She cuts my hair as I wanted and gives a nice scalp massage.  The salon is offbeat from most salons with seemingly all the girls having piercings and tattoos but that does not detract from the services they provide; it is edgy and they rate themselves PG-13.

They were great! I had a french tip with an overlay of gold sparkles! It was very relaxing! They were very nice.

I moved here from Southern California almost 2 years ago. During my time here I have searched for a shop to cut my hair with the skill I had been accustomed to, with no luck. I tried quite a few local barbers and salons. As well as several hair stylists from the film community. While I never received what I would call a bad haircut, I never received one that was completely satisfactory. Until, I discovered Rock and Roller Salon.
Finally, a haircut that was as good as any Beverly Hill salon. At a fraction of the price. My stylists name is Tracy and she gave me the perfect haircut. Very professional and skillful. Some older folks, I am 66, may find the surroundings to and quot;hipand quot; for them. Personally, I love the the atmosphere of the salon and the adventurous spirit of the girls that work there.
I highly recommend this salon, and Tracy.

She does everything, but does my color. She really knows her stuff and is an artist with hair styling. I would highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for a good stylist that knows color well.

I called on a Monday for a Tuesday appointment. They were closed, so I left a message and also sent a message via their website. I was contacted within hours and was able to get an appointment the next day. Brittany cut my hair and was very responsive to my cut requests. We had a lovely conversation, but she was by no means a chatterbox. She styled my hair and it looked great, but she encouraged me to come back in if anything wasn't working when I styled it at home. So far, I love the cut. I am new to the area and will definitely use the salon again.
I also like the funky appeal of the place and its untraditional decor.

As always, visiting the Rockin Roller was a great experience. It's a very hip salon with very genuine people, I've been a client for going on five years.
My stylist is Heather Cayton and she has never done anything but gorgeous hair on me. She does a good consultation, she's easy as pie to talk to, she knows what she's doing and talks to you about what you want and how to get there.
There is a boutique in the salon selling local wares from artists and crafters. Lots of the items are upcycled and funky. There are refreshments available, and once when I had a late evening appointment, Heather made me a tray of food for dinner.
Heather did my roots at this appointment, lightening and then depositing color. After I processed, she washed, conditioned, dried and styled my hair. As usual, it looked amazing.
They even do reminder emails and texts for your appointment which is great for me. They have art shows from time to time so it's always cool to walk through this huge salon and look at the art. I can't really say enough good things about the people of this salon. either.
It's pretty much a love fest of epic proportions.

I have received services from this salon on several occasions and I absolutely love everything about them. The shop is stylish, classy and ever improving. The staff is amazing. The services are top notch and the prices are more than comparable and competitive. Wilmington is certainly a better place with The Rockin Roller Salon around.

They are really good. It's a nice place. I would go back to them in the future.
