There were a few minor errors by his crew that we just ignored and went with because we liked Chris and thought we had found a great company. He did the work, it looked good and he continued to mow our lawn. After several mows he came to the door and said he was going on a vacation but his crew would cover the job. No problem.
They came and went........tick tock......tick tock......they never came back. NEVER. I called and called Chris as did my husband. We thought something may have happened to him. Nope. He just never came back, never returned our phone calls, never gave us a reason, nothing. There was no communication from him at all. No complaining from us to him or vice versa. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
He left us hanging and by the time we realized he just wasn't coming back our yard was overgrown and we had to scramble to hire someone new, who then charged us double because our yard was so overgrown and neglected. Still shaking my head wondering how a professional could do that...If he just chose not to continue with us then why not answer our calls, send a note, drop by and explain? There really isn't any excuse for treating customers so poorly. But still, I would really love to know!
"I apologize that you weren't happy with our service. I had my crew scheduled to come to your property to conduct the lawn maintenance. Before leaving to go out of town, I informed my workers that if the payments weren't received before the work was scheduled to skip the lawn. Your lawn was two payments behind and our company did not receive that payment at that time. They called me and asked if they should do the bi-weekly maintenance on your lawn at that time, and I told them to skip your lawn due to negligent payments. We did receive your payment a week later and at that point I had already made the decision to drop you from our schedule. Once you are off the schedule, it is hard to bring you back on and with late payments, I figured a loss would be best."
"I would like to thank you for the constructive criticism and I will grow from this. I would like to address this situation from the beginning. When I first came out to give you both an estimate, I mentioned installing landscape screen in your shrub beds to prevent weed growth. Once I gave the estimated price verbally, you informed me that it would be taken into consideration and eventually, you both decided against it. I was informed that you wanted the cheapest way out to sell the home and I gave the estimated price on that and stuck to my original estimate. My company did do the lawn maintenance on a bi-weekly basis. We stayed one schedule and maintained the property until you both moved to FL (weather permitting.) I was contacted by your husband two months later on, after you cancelled lawn maintenance service. Your husband informed me at the time, that the house was back on the market and he wanted my company to resume service. At that time we did our best to schedule you both in for services that were discontinued two months ago. Once we arrived to continue service after two months the shrubs and weeds were out of control. I called you both and informed you on this. I was told to give an estimate and I provided the estimate. I never heard back from either one of you and I called again and was put off for anther month. Eventually, you e-mailed me and informed me that you were going to go with a new company to resume service (which at this time it was October and the grass is dormant.) My question is this... If my company did such a bad job, why would you want us for a second time? The answer is for you and everyone else to decide. To be honest, I do not feel like your grading on "angieslist" is fair. I can not control the weather and with my company, I have a strict rain policy. Example, if it rains on a Monday and the Ogden area is scheduled for maintenance for Monday, then the scheduled maintenance is due the next weather permitting day. Last, but not least, I served eight years in the military. I know how to be on time, work hard, get the job done right the first time, and follow through with my agreements. I run my company the way that is right and fair to ALL my customers. I do NOT show any favoritism to any of my customers, whether they are selling a home or customers that are scheduled for regular maintenance."
"I apologize that you were not pleased with our services. We did a soil sample from you property and the invoice was for $20 not $70. We never did receive payment so therefore, the results were not processed back to you."
where they raked on a tarp to load on the trailer...
I have no comparisons for the price but I think it was a little too high...
the work was very through...

While I think Chris is a fine young man,and support his VETERAN status, I should have done more pricing research before booking him.
Will I use him again? Yes, if I am able to negotiate a better price.
he came and he did. He called me on Sunday and came out on Monday to do the work.
He and his crew did all the work he said they would do and everything looked cleaned and neat. Chris and his crew did great work.
He is particular! He told me my driveway was so dirty he had to pressure wash it twice! I loved the fact he wanted to do his best
for me. He did use a concrete cleaner on the driveway. He could see that the driveway needed it and he did the job like it was
suppose to be done.
The yard work he did consisted of pruning a tree in my front yard, looks great and pruning and mulching and cleaning the
back yard. I am so glad I called him.
Thank you Chris. I will for sure call you again!
We could not be happier with Chris or the results of his work. The price was good for the condition the yard was in
We agreeded to meet at 12:30 PM. He was on time and professionally completed the work without any difficulty exactly as we had agreed. The work was further complicated by the lack of vehicle access to the backyard and the trees had to be manually moved to his vehicle at the front of the property. The work was completed in 2 hours by 2 workers and the price included a $40 fee the contractor had to pay to dispose of the trees. The contractor was likeable, professional, punctual and affordable. I am planning future projects we can do together.
Overall, I would highly recommend Chris and Tee Time Lawn Care to anyone who wants a professional with exacting standards to work on their lawn/landscaping. He is going to do some more work for me soon and I can't wait to see how it looks. My yard will soon be the prettiest in the neighborhood thanks in large part to Chris!
I would greatly recommend this company!!!! Chris, the owner, is professional, friendly and hard working.
He always shows up on time and prepared. His estimates are a great value for the services he provides. I've hired other larger lawn companies in the area to do my yardwork, but they do not compare to the quality of service that Chris provides. He really took the time to perfect my yard (which by the way was a disaster before I hired Tee Time Lawn). Tee Time Lawn care is a great locally owned company. I would highly recommend calling them to anyone who needs some TLC for their yard.Licensing
