Mike and his crew were very punctual. I had received bids/quotes from 3 other contractors, one of them quoted the exact same windows, and Mike's quote was the best. The crew was professional, courteous, fast and cleaned up after themselves. The job was planned to take 2 days and was completed as planned. I highly recommend Pro Siding and Windows. p.s. I actually had Mike repair a neighbor's siding for me a few years ago when my stepson damaged it. Mike did that job in about 4hrs, which included removing all the siding from my neighbor's chimney, replacing a bottom edge/corner piece, then putting all the siding back on the chimney of the two-story house.

We chose Pro Siding after talking with four companies. Mike, the owner, and his helpers Mark and Butch were awesome! Mike gave us a very fair price, returned calls promptly, showed up when he said he would, and was so easy to work with. Their professional work shows and I would recommend them highly. If you are getting estimates, make sure to give Mike a call!

I had a couple of other estimates but choose Pro Siding and Windows because of the price and also the professional attitude.  He was quick to give me the estimate, and set everything in motion as quickly as possible to fit me into his schedule.  Mike asked for a payment for materials, and I appreciated that this went directly to the supplier. Mike and his crew showed up right on time as scheduled and set to work immediately.  Even though it rained intermittently throughout the day and poured a couple of times, they kept working.  Since my house is old some framing had to be replaced and fitting took time.  But Mike made sure everything was done right. He and his two crew members were good natured and have a great sense of humor so the day went well for me, too.  When the job was completed they cleaned up -- in the rain.  Mike even rehung my window blinds.  My new windows, especially, and doors are great.  I will contact them again if I need more work and I highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a fair price and excellent workmanship.

Mike performed the job in under the quoted time, professionally and cleaned up afterwards.

Pro Siding and Windows removed two existing windows and installed two new windows in their place. They did the work when they said they would and for the agreed-upon price, and cleaned up after themselves, including removal of the old windows. They were also careful not to dirty the inside of our house. And the new windows are working fine. However, some of the finish work that I expected them to do was left for me to do. I should have been more specific about what their service would include; but at a minimum, I expected the new windows to be caulked, and I had to do that on one of them (as well as prime and paint the new trim). Also, they did not provide us any material concerning the windows they installed -- brand name, model, etc, or how to open for cleaning.

Mike was a very good communicator and very pleasant to deal with. He came over to repair a broken window and was punctual and very professional. Price was in line with what I expected; he was a very nice man who worked as I would expect. I will use him again in the future.

Mike came the fist time to measure. Then ordered the windows, which arrived in a week or so. Mike came back to do some prep work. He then installed the windows. We then agreed to a time when he could wrap the windows. Whe he was finished I inspected the windows. They looked great. Paid mike - job completed.

Several times I had to check his work and call to his attention that he left rotten wood sections that he should fix. Since these two windows were on the second floor I couldn't fully inspect myself. So when the painter came a few days afterward it turns out Mike did a poor job of removing rotten wood framing and had left entire sections which were rotten. My painter had to redo large sections of his work at my cost.

Wow! He showed up at the correct time, did the work incredibly fast and left! What more could I ask for?

He came right on time and didn't charge me anything. He let me know that I didn't need to replace any of the windows. He even replaced a window latch for free.

I received three estimates to replace 15 single pane all wooden, orgiginal windows in my 1948 home.

Mike's estimate was right in the middle, and unlike other window companies, he wasn't pushy. I called and got an estimate within a couple of days. Mike showed up exactly on time for the estimate and even left his sample window with me for a few days to check out. After we decided to use Pro Siding and Windows, Mike said he'd come out and measure the windows. Again he was on time and it only took a few minutes.

I put a deposit down ($800), but I wrote the check to the window supply company. This way, as Mike said, you won't pay me a dime until you're satisfied with the job.

Once the windows were ordered, Mike said it would be about a week for them to come in. Exactly on time, a week later, Mike called to schedule an installation. Three days later, Mike's crew of four guys showed up bright and early before the sun was up, and they were completely done with the installation and clean up by 3:00 pm. I had to work and I felt completely comfortable leaving my home with Mike and his crew. I checked in a couple of times during the day, and the crew was professional and courteous.

The actual process for those of you exploring replacement windows goes like this:

MIke taped up the inside of the windows with plastic to keep down the dust. Then, from the outside removed the original sashes, the oginal stops, and the orginal trim. Then, they slide in the new window with a wrap around it for insulation. They screw it in, and trim out the outside with matching trim. Mike even put a very nice channel in the trim that gives it a molding feel. Then, they caulk everything on the outside, and caulk everything from the inside.

It was something we should have done a long time ago. Mike assured me I'll save at least 30% on energy bills. They look incredible and the sound is amazing. With single pane windows, you hear a great deal. With these, it's quiet and warm!

All in all, Pro Siding and Windows was professional, punctual, and honest. Mike's a great guy and I'll use him again.

P.S. What I learned about the whole window experience is that in Wilmington you want a .30 U factor or less and SHGC of less than .40. Also, Progress Energy gives you a rebate for $30/window if they meet these Energy Star ratings.

We had good results with them. They had the lowest estimate for replacement windows. They did a good job. They did exactly what they said they would do and the clean up was good. We were very happy with them. We would recommend them.

They were great and earlier than scheduled. Came to install my door before scheduled so I could have other work done. Performed work on time and cleaned up mess. I would def use again and recommend. Customer service was excellent.
