The carpet that Charles Odell laid in the hallway was obviously cut too short. There is an obvious line in the middle and on both sides of each baseboard I can press it down with ease and stick my fingers underneath. Not to mention the EXTREME damage that was caused to my new paint job not only to the baseboards, but to my closet doors, walls and brand new vanity in my bathroom (master).
Charles assured me that he would be able to take out the old vanities and toilets in both bathrooms and replace them. In doing so he cause severe damage to the walls, assured me he would fix it and never did. The toilets are both installed incorrectly and the one in the guest bathrooms seat has completely fallen off. I had to pay a plumber to come fix everything he said he could do and got paid for. In fact, Charles even charged more than what his estimate said. He told me it would cost $2,100.00 but charged me $2,249.64 and got mad when I questioned why. He continued to tell me I should have paid more. He also left cigarette butts all over my front yard as well as leaving one on my son's dresser in his room!! I am NOT a smoker and my son has severe allergies, so I did not appreciate this at all! He was also very rude to my Mom. The day I paid him, I left and he said he had a little left to do and he would fix any damage he cause as I had paint left over. He did not fix any damage and when I returned home I found a stripe painted on my wall in a different color. Obviously done out of spite. My Uncle is a building inspector and when he saw the job that Odell Flooring had done, he said it was one of the worst jobs he had ever seen and even called Charles Odell. He feels I was ripped off and wants me to take it farther and I am thinking of doing so. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! He was rude and unprofessional. He even had his nephew come one day to work with him because his usual worker was busy!?! Is that right? This man is a rip off!! Worst job ever!! BEWARE!!!

Overall experience was fine. Most of the time they showed up when they said they would. Were polite and easy to work with.

Overall I would definetely reccomend Mr Odell for all flooring needs he placed vinyl flooring and carpet for me at two different locations and i am planning to call him again for carpet replacement in my own home soon.
