O'Brien Service Company is a locally owned and operated business established in 1981 to provide a complete range of heating and air services, from installation to regular maintenance. We now provide plumbing/drain cleaning, electrical, and indoor air quality solutions. We are licensed and fully insured! My wife and I have owned our commercial building for 20 years and have dealt with four or five HVAC companies. We needed to replace our old HVAC units and O’Brien was highly recommended. Everything went well! They were able to install the new unit sooner than expected. The guys, Mike, Riley and Andrew were professional, friendly and very efficient. They cleaned up any debris and made sure I was satisfied with the work. Mike Russell is awesome too. I have used O'Brien Service Company for many years and I trust them completely. Many thanks to Jim Z for the 2 days he spent getting my Trane system working properly and correcting some old problems. Jim is a true HVAC professional with many years of experience. O'Brien is fortunate to have him on their team. It was such a relief to have this friendly, yet no-nonsense pro, on October 7 & 8, 2020 handle persistent problems with focus and ease. I have consistent cooling and heating again. And, my electricity expense, which had doubled, is back to normal. Also, many thanks to Holly & Chris for their Sunday service call in March & for making sure of proper follow-ups. As always, O'Brien is the best. Happy New Year

When our HVAC system failed, we started looking around for a company that we would like to have a long term relationship with. Our neighbors had just had a Trane system installed in their home and were very happy with both the Trane unit and the company that did the installation: O’Brien’s. We spoke with a couple of companies, but O’Brien’s stood out. First, Mike Russell responded to our call immediately. He came to our home, and before discussing any new systems, did a complete inspection and calculation of what our home required. He then sat down and gave us multiple options of manufacturers and SEER ratings. He helped us narrow the systems down to what we decided on. We were able to schedule installation the very next week. Mike Bennet was our installer. He showed up with his team on time each morning and kept his workspace immaculate. We were very impressed with their work, and they were nice enough to repair a couple items that they found improperly done by other companies. Our system had one glitch the first week, but Tim Morehouse had it fixed before we returned home, then returned later to confirm all was well. Overall, we are extremely pleased the entire operation at O’Brien’s. We’ve always found that when you find a contractor that you can trust, stick with them. We are now loyal O’Brien’s customers.

The salesman (Tom) was involved and available throughout the whole process from providing multiple alternative quotes and advice to a follow-up visit after installation. The installation team showed up on time and worked straight through till the system was installed. They walked me through setting up the system, app and thermostat. The cleanup was well done and complete. O'Brien did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. A very professional company.

Absolutely no complaints at all. Appointments were kept, and all players were courteous, respectful of our property, and they clearly knew what they were doing. Everything was clearly spelled out and reviewed prior to the start of work. Follow up was also punctual. The system so far is working perfectly. Pricing was fair too insomuch as you don't get what you don't pay for. If I had it to do over again, I'd hire these guys in a heartbeat.

Part one: I called for an evaluation and a Mr. Getzen, the technician, arrived. He did this long introduction of the service. Part two: The actual installation couldn't have been better. Courteous and competent technicians handled everything. Absolutely a great 10 on everything. Part three: Mr. Getzen comes back. First of all he shows up a quarter to 1pm instead of 11:30am without an explanation. He says we owe him an additional $576 and I said I don't because I paid what was advised by check and they received the receipt. I was told that they made a mistake but I said that's their problem, not mine. I was also suppose to receive a gift card through the AC vendor but offered to give that to the company so I won't be charged the additional fee they mentioned. Mr Getzen declined the offer that I made so he packed up and left. I had a bad experience with the interactions overall but the installation went well. I called the company to have them not have the technician come back so instead they had given me new contact card with the superior's information. The beginning and ending were negative experiences but the middle, the installation, was positive.

Excellent service! Everyone involved with the project arrived and finished on time. We had one small problem noted 10 days after installation. Technician was at the house and had the problem fixed within 3 hours of my phone call. We are very pleased with the service.
