Mike Melton's Pump & Plumbing Service

I had a water service ran by Mike and Justin a few months ago. They were quick, easy to work with and the estimate was actually more than the total. Would absolutely recommend to anyone requiring any plumbing work.

The owner sent an employee to give a quote and examine problem. No work was performed, and when we decided to move forward with another contractor that had more availability we received the following text. (See photo). To say it was unprofessional is an understatement. Wish you were able to give a Z. Trust me, call a professional so that you don’t come to regret working with a company like this.

They came when they said they would. They got the work done quickly. They were three guys here doing the work and they considerate of my lawn while they were digging. They were very informative.

Mike's employee (Justin) came out today and quickly had the old tank out. The new tank is a 44 gallon verses the old 36 gallon. This was what Mike recommended. The well needed to flush for about an hour. Justin did not come out with the plumbing parts he needed so he left while the well purged. Justin added a sand filter that makes it easy to flush the filter and keep the water running without sand coming into the house. Everything went well until I got the bill. It was $960.45 of which $44 was tax. As you might imagine this did not sit well with me because of the difference from the verbal quote. Justin cleaned up and showed me how to flush the new filter.
