It was during normal office hours. She just rescheduled her other appointments to work with my emergency. They're excellent diagnosticians. They're a little expensive.

The staff is always courteous and polite. The vets are as well and very knowledgable. I have always received outstanding care for my pets and was never felt pressured to do additional testing or procedures. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone!

I just moved back to the area and asked around about vets. Two of my friends referred me to the La Croix clinic. One of these friends is a highly skilled dog trainer and long time dog owner/advocate. My first visit to the clinic was excellent. The staff was friendly and I was seen according to my scheduled time. My dog had a little bit of ear irritation and the tech showed me how to clean out my dog's ears. Dr. Redfern was attentive, gentle with my dog and very informative about a minor scrap on my dog's nose. They also trimmed my dog's nails for me. I will go back again and refer others. Sorry to hear others had a bad experience.

I'm sorry others have had a bad experience at this excellent veterinary clinic. We have many pets, and I've never received sub par care or responsiveness to an issue. Without Drs. Redfearn and Halvorson, our Golden Retriever that has cancer, would have died long ago. They have been wonderful with referrals, chemotherapy, emergency and routine treatment for him. The clinic and its staff, from the receptionists, to the techs, and caring, professional and efficient. Health care, whether its for an animal or human is expensive...and what medical/dental office have you ever been to that you haven't had to wait on occasion for an emergency to be cared for? They could be caring for your sick/injured animal...or more likely, they are caring for a stray that has come in off the street after an accident, with no guarantee of payment for the treatment. Why would you think that caring for an animal costs less than a human? This veterinary clinic also practices preventative medicine...you prevent future medical issues by lab work, xrays, dental care and exams, which cost money. Our furry friends depend on us to care for them, and if you're concerned with costs, be pro active and ask the charges up front. The vets at this clinic are employees of a group, and many times they are expected to give discounts and make exceptions when they aren't able. In my opinion, LaCroix is still a excellent as it was when Dr. LaCroix owned it, and I will continue to patronize it, and refer friends when asked.

I was just dropping my dog off to have the shots and exam done while I went to work. After I filled out the 2 pages of paperwork, I had to wait 30 minutes until someone came to take my dog to the back. They asked me what time I'd be back and I told them, but when I showed up, I had to wait another half an hour to get sent to an exam room, then 20 minutes until the vet tech brought my dog in, then another 10 - 15 minutes for the vet. The vet, Dr Redfearn, was polite, courteous, and attentive. She told me everything they had checked and what shots had been given and made sure any questions I had were answered. My dog was completely healthy, had no internal or external parasites, required no treatment, but the bill for the check up and shots (and county rabies tag, not their fault) was still around $400.00. After checking around, I have confirmed that this is way overpriced for the services they provided.

Would never go back - would discourage anyone that asked me about them from going there.

They staff couldn't have been friendlier and my dogs loved them. They explained everything but never made me feel stupid. Could not have been more patient with my older dog who was very worried, in fact they all stayed late to get the perfect x-ray. Dr. Redfearn called the next day with the blood work results and about a course of action for her leg problems. It's a long drive for me to get there but they make the trip worth it - so happy to have found them.
