Darren was courteous, professional, and on time during our initial contact. We had water damage on the front of our house and due to the house paneling being constructed of MDF (fiberboard), had rot issues. I had researched the price of Hardie Plank on my own before Darren came out to to give a quote. His estimate was very reasonable compared to what I had found on my own. He offered numerous options for our budget (painting, not painting, etc) and got back in touch with me with a quote pretty quickly.
We hired him to complete a job which consisted of replacing all front siding of our brick ranch, trimboards, brick molding, replacement of roofline siding, repair of damaged soffit area by front doors, removal and installation of front door, installation of Hardie Board and painting.
Communication during the process was exceptional. When we came home in the evening the worksite was exceptionally clean. Darren was also able to match our paint color exactly and the finished product looks perfect. He did an exceptional job and was a pleasure to work with. I received the invoice via email last night and the bill was exactly what I was quoted.
I highly recommend Hometown Handyman for anyone looking for a reliable, dependable handyman.
