The wall itself became a rather large undertaking -- it is 160' long and 5+ ft high in order to bring it up to grade - and is beautiful! They did a fantastic job on it and making sure it was built the right way so that we should never have issues with it blowing out or anything (Chris has pretty much guaranteed it for life). They built it exactly the way some of the other larger contractors in the area told us they would build a commercial retaining wall. There was a LOT of rain towards the end of this summer so we did fall behind schedule on several occasions but they worked weekends and well into the evenings to pull it together. There were several parts of our renovation that were done by other contractors (pool and deck), so after the wall was completed Grass with Class was out of the picture while those projects were being completed. They then came back in and finished grading (we now have a large, flat backyard!), installed irrigation, sod, and landscaping that includes a mix of palms, flowering bushes, a few small trees, and river rock beds. We love our new backyard!
