He served as the general contractor and managed the work.  It wasn’t remodeling.  He did a bunch of work and coordinated different tradesmen.  I was pretty happy with the result.  I thought that his price was fair.  He was recommended by the real estate agent.  I paid less than I would have if I had hired all these people separately.  The quality of work was fine, perfect.  He was a typical contractor juggling different jobs and mine wasn’t a good job for him.  It took a couple of months to get all the different pieces done, but nothing was an emergency.  He did real well for a contractor and always showed up for work.  I would use them again in the future in a heartbeat.
