It went OUTSTANDING! Rich got to me within a couple of days and saved me at least $1500 dollars less then the company who installed this two year old system at construction of the new house. He is the best!!

Rick replaced a part two years ago when my A/C went down. At that time he was sent by my Home Warranty Co. I no longer have a home warranty so when my A/C went down again, I called him. He was very busy (had 42 calls ahead of me,) but gave me the day he could come and offered the opportunity to make the appointment or go elsewhere if I wanted someone sooner. I chose to wait. For 4 days I sweated, but I knew Rick would do right by me. Rick called me the night before our appointment to confirm, and even called an hour before to make sure I was at home. He arrived promptly at our specified time. I can not tell you how much I appreciate his honesty, integrity, and professionalism. I love this guy!! I was so afraid he was going to give me the bad news that it was time for a new unit. Nope. After climbing in my crawlspace, it was an easy fix. I asked him his opinion on my unit and how much longer he thought it would hold out. He says units usually last about 10-12 years. Based on the looks of mine, I'm pretty sure it's the original one and my house is 21 years old. Based on what he told me, it sounds like my unit still has some life left. I will probably invest in a home warranty now. It's less expensive than vehicle insurance and a no-brainer. I feel like I didn't pay him enough for his service.

Rich from Fire and Ice was prompt, communicated well taking the time to explain everything. He fixed the problem at a good price and has been responsive to questions since. this is a great company and a great person to trust with your AC units.

I didn't have any problem at all. He was prompt and courteous and reasonable and got the job done pretty quick. I've used them three times.

He kept me informed until he arrived because he was running behind.  Sometimes things happen that are unavoidable.  When he got to my home he explained everything that was going on and kept me informed.

It went very well. I have used Rich previously and he continues to contact me the day prior to the service, again the morning of the service and finally when is is about 5 minutes away. He is very organized, works quickly and gets the job done and done right. I originally met Rich through my home warrantee contract. Now I ask for him by name any time I need A/C service. His work is the best!

He was very professional and punctual. He answered all my questions on the phone and gave me a couple of different prices and couple of different ways to go. The price was exactly what he said it was going to be and he got it done in the time that he said it would take.

Very professional, no wasted time or sales pitch for things I don't need. 5-10 minutes late, buy called to let me know. Highly recommended.

They were excellent.  The pre inspection service identified some issues and they provided an estimate to repair the issues.  After I purchased the property they completed the repairs over the price that they originally quoted, so it worked out really well and the system works fine.

I called Rich on Monday afternoon after realizing our office HVAC had stopped cooling.  I described the situation to him over the phone (what was happening, what wasn't) and he pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone.  He was able to come by the next morning and replace a bad capacitor.  Rich was actually starting vacation on that same day but agreed to help us out before he left town.  Admittedly we're a regular client of his, but, this is the typical type of service we get from Rich.  Prompt, reasonably priced and fair.

Called Rich yesterday to see if he could come by just to make sure my unit was working as it should. He was able to come out  today and checked to make sure it was running at top notch. Verified the unit had enough Freon in it and the air handler was operating good. I would recommend and use Fire & Ice Heating & Cooling again.

I have used Rich for the units at my office and my home (unfortunately, several times as they're getting older).  I also recommend him to anyone who needs HVAC service because he is prompt, knowledgeable, professional and reasonably priced.

Most heating and cooling in North Carolina is done by heat pump. Our heat pump went bad, and we are insured. The man from this company was magnificent! He came out and ordered a part. He was in contact with me on a daily basis on the status of this order. The part arrived yesterday afternoon, and arrived before 9:30 this morning and fixed the problem. It is now running beautifully. He has been out at my home three times and has done a wonderful job every time. He is an excellent provider of heating and cooling services!
