I have never hired a professional painter before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was surprised (and delighted) by his process. He patches any holes in the walls or cracks that have appeared over time. He also caulks the baseboards so they look newly installed. He will happily remove/move anything in his way, including towel racks and furniture, and put it back once he's done. He uses a local supplier and had all the tools needed to paint the (very tall) stairwell.
His original estimate was for about 8 days, and it ultimately took him 11. However, that was due to us asking him to paint more trim and doors than originally estimated plus two additional gallons of paint needed to finish the job. He had many photos of past jobs to help us visualize color choice. He kept a very clean work area and always picked up at the end of the day. We were easily able to function in our house during the two weeks he was working, which was surprising since we were having practically every room painted. We were very pleased with the work, and we would certainly recommend him again.
Scott and his crew were great to work with. They were punctual and here everyday until the job was done. I travel a lot for work and Scott went out of his way to accommodate my schedule. All of his crew was meticulous. There are no visible spills or paint droppings anywhere and the workmanship is second to none. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone.
