The technician stayed with us for the better part of an hour to make sure that the furnace was working properly, as the cause of the outage was a bit of a curiosity. He also explained to me how to restart the furnace myself, and discussed issues with the oil tanks that could have caused the problem. His willingness to see the problem through impressed me.

I don't think the labor charge was very much. I found the work quite satisfactory and the price reasonable. They were responsive and came next day, but I went with another company when I got a new system because they had all the certifications.
