Archer's Appliance & TV Repair

STOP! Do Not use Archers! Besides the place being a seedy, disgusting and dirty place, I've had terrible luck with them. 1st fridge i bought lasted less than 1 week. They traded it out for a lesser refrigerator and that died after 90 days. They had the nerve to charge a service call again! Matt came here, didn't fix it, bullied and threatened me because I was writing a check instead of cash. Said he was calling the police on me. I told him to go ahead. He left and said he'll be waiting in his truck for the police. Police never came. Then, they call me to schedule a repair which Matt said would be $100, and said it over $400 top repair! They are a total rip off!!

The service person who arrived was very likeable, dressed professionally, and extremely knowledgeable. Thorough examination of the appliance was performed and the price was reasonable. Will absolutely use them again if needed!

Work they did was great. Same problem popped up again a few months later and they are working to fix it. Very professional and we trust them.

Very professional and reasonable. I highly recommend them. It makes much more sense to have your appliances fixed by these folks than buy new.

very well, repairman was knowledgeable and courteous, and left the area in the same condition (maybe better) as when he came in.The repair was made quickly as he had the needed part in the truck with him. he worked quickly and even answered some questions I had about the dryer operation.

Chris , the technician, arrived on time,  fixed all three appliances quickly and professionally.  We will be calling them again when we have a problem.

They came out and diagnosed when they said they would, called back with a price, ordered the parts, and came and fixed it when they said they would.

I am very pleased with Mr. Archer. He was kind, considerate but best of all knowledgeable about the problem with our TV. And he fixed it! We had already taken our TV to another appliance repair in the city and paid them $50.00 and they did not fix it. They told us that it never went out on them so they didn't know what to fix!! Oh please! Sure enough it started going out on us as soon as we brought it back home. We thought it was a lost cause until I read Mr. Archer's review on Angie's list and he had fixed a similar problem. Mr. Archer didn't have to see the TV go out before he looked inside and replaced what he knew was causing that problem! And it has never gone out on us again! I will definitely use him again if I have any appliances to be fixed.

Our large flat screen TV was blown out during a storm. Mr.Archer returned our call quickly and checked our brand and model to determine if he could get parts. He, came picked up the TV and returned it three days later in perfect working order. He was professional, friendly and courteous. We would highly recommend him.

I spoke with Harry Archer by phone. He took my model # and saide would call me back. When he did, he said that there was a repair kit available that fixes the problem I was havin and gave me an estimate of approximeately $125 for parts and labor. I took the TV to the shop on Market Street in Ogden Town Center on a Thursday afternoon and Harry had it ready Friday morning. The TV has been on 24/7 since gbringing it home and the actual bill was 59.80 for parts and $65.00 for labor.
