Aaa Car Care Center - Wilmington

I keep taking my cars back there. The price is normal. I have 3 cars and I take every one of them back there. It took a day to complete the service. They have pick-up service. I only live about 3 blocks away, but they will pick me up and drop me off, but sometimes I just walk. They seem to know what they're doing. They're professional.

This shop provided a mediocre experience overall. I had to take my car back to the shop twice after their initial service so they could and quot;fixand quot; issues that occurred, due to their service. Maybe I am an exception to the rule, but I would not recommend this shop.

They are not the cheapest but they do a good job.

Car had been sitting for 3 years and had had work last done on it from them and what my son had thought would be a $3000 job turned into a $300 job when it stopped working 3 years ago. My son then changed into my car and left his car to rot on the driveway. The gas pedal had been sticking before that and we knew the battery needed replacing and it was near time for a timing belt and the water pump looked bad as well from the computer report so they went ahead and did all these repairs this time which kinda went the other way that I had expected - last time expected $3000 and it was $300 and this time expected just some slight work and it was $2500. Since it's my son's car and he is a stubborn 21 year old, he gave my advice of a 2nd opinion little credence and just went with them because he didn't want to wait. They did the work but I never saw the written estimate until after the repairs were done.

Seemed a little high especially for certain things like the battery and the repair of the throttle control which I felt for the price should have just been replaced vs. repaired.

They've been very honest in the past and had been well under expectations and I really didn't have any say in the matter as my son insisted on this repair getting done very quickly for job reasons. Just hope it all turns out okay because I am not going to help him with any repairs after this. Think it should have been $3-500 less, but that's just my opinion
