First puppy visit had to get all his shots and check up. Not a bad wait time, friendly staff.

I then took my pup to Dr Ford at Needham for a overall exam. I did not tell him about the previous exam. He gave her a good report. I asked him then what he thought about her left knee. At that time he did not recommend surgery for her. That her breed was common for knee problems but he fled keeping an eye on it was all that was needed. I tried contacting Dr Dan Wilson in regards to this doctor and her mis-diagnosis. Emailed 3 times and called once. Girl on the desk said he did get my emails and he would get back to me. I never did!!! So, now it's two years later. My little pup continues to run like the wind! I'm soooo happy I did not follow Dr Reinhat's advise. I see now she works at Pine Valley Animal Hospital.

I have had several rescue pets, lived in many different cities, and have had to switch vets time and again secondary to moving. I now live in Wilmington (hopefully permanently) and I can honestly say that A Country Vet Clinic provides the best and most thorough veterinarian services I have ever experienced. I have two rescue dogs who both have allergies. Other vets have tried prescribed lifelong prednisone and cyclosporine, but of which can have harmful side effects over time. I tried addressing this concern with several other vets, but they brushed me off. The vets at A Country Vet Clinic understood and agreed with my concerns. They diligently worked with my dogs and helped us come with with a diet that has eased their symptoms (in combination with when necessary benadryl). Also, instead of pushing the latest and greatest (and most expensive) flea/tick/heartworm treatments, they recommend combinations of these medications that are very effective but also very affordable. I am 100% satisfied with them and hope that they will be around for a long time to provide top quality yet highly affordable care to all of my current and future pets.

I am very pleased with Dr. Wilson. He and his staff are very compassionate and spend time explaining your pet's situation and condition. I'm very happy to have found this veterinarian.

The prices are great. They have a low cost overhead and they transfer that down to the customers. They are great to work with. They are responsive and very professional.

This is bar none the best vet in the Wilmington area! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I had been taking the dogs to one place and the cats to another. I won't mention the names of the other vets here but after going to these other vets quite some time (years) I became very disappointed not only in service but how I felt like I was being charged way more than seemed right and being told my animals needed more than seemed necessary. One vet told me if I didn't have my cats teeth cleaned and a few pulled he could get very sick and possibly die but the amount for this service they quoted me at almost $500 was going to be impossible for me to afford. So worried to death, I was talking to a friend about it and she mentioned The Country Vet and said they were very nice and had reasonable pricing. So I called and made an appointment. Firstly the people there are so nice and the place has more of a homey feel (not spending a lot of money on fancy surroundings says a lot to me) but most importantly the Dr told me that my cat was fine, he didn't need teeth pulled or even cleaned at this time. He gave him a full exam and deemed him a very healthy cat. They charged me a little over $40 for this service. I immediately had all my animals transferred to them, brought my other cat in who does need his teeth cleaned but it'll only be around $150 for the entire service (the exam/check up and all his shots was only around $70 I was paying twice that much at the other place!) You know you are getting the honest to God truth when you get your animals taken care of here. Woohoo I'm so glad I've found this vet and I thank my friend much for leading me in their direction!

I called a couple days in advance to make an appointment. The office is very busy, but not hectic. Must be from all the great work this office does!!! My dog, Lola and I only had to wait a couple of minutes before we were seen. The atmosphere is laid back which I think is helpful to all the animals. I loved that Lola was given a exam and received her vaccinations so that she is current. Dr. Reinhart only gave Lola what she needed. She didn't try to upsell me at all which I always appreciate. My total bill was only $140. I was thrilled. Lola had an exam, heart worm test done, rabies vaccination, her distemper shot, and they were having a special on HeartGuard so I purchased six months worth and got three extra months as well. Oh yeah and they trimmed her paws free of charge! I highly recommend this clinic. It's off of Market Street and I definitely drove passed it the first time...but I'm new to Wilmington. The staff are all compassionate and highly knowledgable. I feel confident that I Lola and I are now newly devoted patients. I most definitely recommend them.

I recently found myself in need of a new veterinarian. This office was recommended on this list plus a neighbor uses them. Dr. Wilson did not do some of the 'tests' that my other vet used to do every 6 months. I did ask about that, his response was, since I had not seen any evidence of ill health in the dogs it was not necessary. The preventions we are on, should keep those tests from being necessary unless something changes.
I appreciate that. Money is tight but I knew I had to get my pets treated prior to taking them out of state for the holidays. What would have cost me upwards of $500 or more at the other vet was very reasonable with A Country Veterinarian.

The veterinarians have been following my dog's c ondition. She had bladder surgery five years ago for a bladder stone and
did well until a couple of months ago, when she started passing blood in her urine. We are aware that further surgery
cannot be performed, so we are keeping her happy and comfortable with frequent follow-up. The kindness and concern of the staff is
wonderful.

They are very reasonable. I just think it is a wonderful practice. It is a good old fashioned clinic. I do rescue work. I had a dog which showed up in my yard and I did not know anything about it. I could not find the owner, so I took him to A Country Veterinarian Clinic and they did an evaluation on the dog. They gave him a shot and took care of him. They were very supportive. I can go in there at the last minute as well. The waiting time there is average. I have to wait for about 15 minutes. I certainly will use them in the future.
