We were needing someone to do a major structural tear out and remodel of our beach home due to rot and water leakage as well as a major remodel of all our decks and porches along with the addition of over 1200 sq/ft of decking to a new area on the ground level. I reached out to 3 contractors that I found on the internet along with other researched. Upon the first time I met the guys from 1OAK I was impressed with their knowledge and just general reassuring feeling I had with them. They are no pressure, just the facts of the issue type of company. Of course, as with any remodel we ran into many things that needed to be repaired that we didn't plan on. 1OAK was always through and did the repairs right. I have recommended them to anyone else that has asked me who did the work. They provided many options for any of the materials needed and were open for our own ideas as well. Given the environment of this location, we wanted options that would last and be as little maintenance as possible. I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done. Very good company to deal with. Actually, we plan to do a master bath remodel this winter and I have already reached out to them to let them know and start getting some ideas for us.

Kevin and Travis at 1OAK did a fine job of making sure remodels were fluid and the timeline was mostly followed. You could easily tell these guys have many years of experience in this trade. They both made planning easy and efficient for me, and they also made the permitting process and timeline easy for me to follow as the homeowner. Kevin and Travis both made sure to do frequent walk throughs. Attention to detail was a top priority for both of them and they made it a top priority to keep an eye on their finish guys. Kevin and Travis are also two very personable guys and are extremely easy to talk to. I now consider them both friends and references for future jobs for friends.

We highly recommend 1 Oak Construction. Kevin & Travis helped us creatively dream of a four season sunroom addition to our home. With their professional experience, vast knowledge, and a keen eye for design, they gently guided us through the planning process. Then when construction began, they remained attentive and helpful with details, responsive and respectful with communication, determined and dedicated to finishing each step of the project. We were under a crunched time line – and they worked ‘above and beyond’ to meet that deadline. (whew!) Plus, they are caring and kind and just plain FUN folks (there’s no price tag for that)!

they were very good to work with the subcontractors they had they’ve clearly vetted to understand the quality that they want because everybody was so responsive. as you can see in the pictures, we’re not completely done, but very pleased with the craftsmanship displayed

It went as planned and I love our house. We had master bedroom, office , laundry addition done and kitchen remodel with floors done. Would not have anyone else’s do work in my home. They were professional did fantastic work and friendly. Love my house now just what we ask for and better. I would recommend to all looking for great contractors.
