It went very well. Initial call was to trouble shoot an electrical issue. They found that issue and resolved the causes within half a day's work. We then had a frank dialog about that issue and bringing the house fixtures up to code, including changing some old light fixtures and fixing an outside light on a 25-30 foot pole. Barwick electrical worked diligently until all the switches and sockets were replaced - upgrading to fault and outside fixtures where necessary. They installed lights in the bathrooms and shower and fixed the outside pole light. They knew their business and offered professional tips and expertise about all things electrical in general. They cleaned up after each work day and took away any electrical trash.
This work was done on my mother's home and Barwick electrical honored the senior discount.
In addition to doing great work the team was very personable. They maintained a pleasant working relationship and did not mind if our conversation strayed away from work now and then.
Don't be afraid to ask about something you did not understand. Tim was very patient explaining options and why in any given situation something would or would not work.
If I have an electrical issue in the future at my own residence I know who to call.

Tim Barwick has been a great help to me over the last 10 years. He has performed the following jobs for me:

4. After Hurricane Fran he installed a generator panel in my garage and I purchased a generator for future storms
5. Worked on the electrical for my fish pond
6. Replaced the motor on my attic fan
7. Added new electrical outlets indoors and outdoors

There is nothing he has been uable to do and I have recommended him highly to friends and neighbors. He responds promptly to phone calls and is always courteous and always arrives when he says he will. He is honest and friendly. He cleans up after himself and always does a great job. I could not recommend him more highly. He is always a pleasure to work with.

He and his assistant were to the second on time, worked efficiently and professionally, cleaned up the work site and asked if anything else needed to be done while they were here. Fees were reasonable. We will use Barwick Electrical Services again and will recommend them to our friends.
