I had to fire Tom and his crew for the lack of quality work. They could not level a window, and they did a terrible job on drywall, could not even cut a straight line. They only work 4 hours a day, so what was supposed to be a 2-3 week project turned into 6 weeks and is still not complete. They are nice people who overpromise but underdeliver. I had to hire a new contractor, and it took them 3 days to fix all the bad drywall work. He learned that even though it says Handyman Tom, Tom does not drive, has quite the record, so his dad drives him everywhere even though he is in his 40s. I had them do a tile backsplash for my kitchen too and that was awful, never put any edging up where the tile ended on the wall. It looks like an amateurs did it and he said it was his specialty. I would NOT recommend these guys.

"I am not going to get into much detail with what working with this person was like, but we did have to take her to small claims court to get paid. We are a two people outfit and my son fell over twenty feet from a second story balcony three years ago and broke seven ribs. So yes, we only work 4 to 5 hours a day maximum. This lady was told that from day one. The job she is referring to was to finish the attic of her home, which was built in the 50. We completed up to finishing the drywall, with only painting left and she discharged us. She claimed her contractor friend found problems, but when we asked to meet with her and her friend, she abruptly and without any regard to letting us correct any problem, dismissed us. Then would not pay for all the work we had done. The judge was not fooled by her false claims of shoddy work, we had pictures. Almost daily we asked was everything okay and she repeatedly assured us the work was fine. You cannot please everybody. Read the rest of our reviews, then decide. Thanks for your time."

Great job! Professional. Considerate of time. Painted our master suite and helped us with paint selection when our chosen paint did not match color sample. Could have been frustrating but "cool headed Tom" spent the time to make sure we were satisified. Highly recommend Handyman Tom.
