They did all sorts of damage to our property. They started a deck and we didn?t like it because it was too small, but they kept on, so we had to literally tear it down and throw it in the dumpster after they walked off the job, setting us back about $8800. Mitchell never took notes and they didn't care for what I wanted. They did what they wanted and did not supervise their subcontractors. One of them drilled a hole in our barn ceiling and put a heating register there, which would have caused the heat pump to run continuously. There was a leaking pipe in the kitchen, even with the main valve shut off and they never finished it. They were supposed to do some other plumbing and they never finished it. The pipe leaked water on the brand new cabinets for over two months and it molded and mildewed. We were about to fire them from the job, but instead, they attempted to create a scenario that made it look like we had violated the contract so they could walk off the job. They waited for a check to clear, then sent us an email saying the were quitting the job while we were out of state at a family wedding. It was a terrible experience that cost us even more by having to repair damage they caused and having to redo poor quality work. To undo and redo what they had messed up, cost us about another $15000.
