The cost was a lot because I have a few cats. The doctor was really, really wonderful. She was just super nice, friendly and comforting. She was easy to talk to and didn’t look at me like I was crazy. She just seemed really knowledgeable. The doctor was really great. On price, I don’t really have anything to compare it to.

First, Dr. Forward is one of only about 20 board certified veterinarians in North Carolina. She's also published in medical journals. I learned the hard way from bad experiences with other vets that North Carolina does not require board certification. I won't take my dogs to any other vet, unless it's an emergency in which case I'd follow up with her ASAP. I don't trust anyone else after what I've been through.

Although Dr. Forward is the only board certified veterinarian in the office, the others are wonderful too. Dr. Meyers also does acupuncture, which really helps with some conditions and with pain. The staff are always wonderful to my dogs and to me. They are friendly, helpful, supportive, and will give you a hug when you need one. My puppy Finn LOVES to go to Carolina Pets Animal Hospital, which is unusual.

I won't burden everyone with the story of Mary, my cocker spaniel who passed away about 3 years ago (put to sleep by Dr. Forward while I held Mary), but it was Dr. Forward who was there for me and was able to effectively treat Mary when she got sick thanks to another vet. Dr. Forward gave me an extra year with my Mary, and gave my Mom an extra year and a half with her Mia (cocker spaniel). Other vets had misdiagnosed and mis-treated Mia and Mary, but Dr. Forward always got it right, and without charging us thousands of dollars for unnecessary tests!

I drive about an hour to take my boys (Finn, my crazy puppy, and Nathan, my rescue) to Dr. Forward, and I won't go anywhere else.

Dr .Broel took the time to talk to us about our new dog and answer all our questions. She gave us recommendations and just took her time to make sure we understood everything. Only issue was that their lab lost our dog's blood work and we had to go back a week later to have it redrawn :(. Love this place and their vets!

They treat every person like their only patient. They are very concerned about the pets and called the next day to follow up how the animal is doing. They are very personable and they are extremely well equipped to do the work they have been doing, they have the latest technology. I was very impressed with their service. Their prices are great as well.

We chose Carolina Pets Animal Hospital several years ago and have been extremely satisfied with the service. The entire staff is extremely friendly, professional and you can really tell they care about your pets. Dr. Meyers has taken very good care of our dog and cat. If you have an emergency, they will do their best to work around your schedule to get you in as quickly as possible. I highly recommend these guys.

Their prices are very reasonable. They're very caring, thorough, have great hours and are very accessible. They are open until 7 o'clock on weekdays and Have Saturday hours so it's easy to get to when you're working.

My original call was handled efficiently and I was given a timely appointment to see Dr. Forward. On appointment day, I was taken in promptly with little wait time. The doctor appears to be very knowledgeable and professional.

I'm not going to comment on any one visit, because the level of service has been the same on all of them. We have been to Carolina Pets Animal Hospital at least a dozen times over the last couple of years. Service is always excellent. We would not think of going anywhere else. What I really like about Dr. Forward is that she will give you negative, even if it is a long shot. She is very conservative in her style. And where the health of my pets is concerned, that is exactly what I want.
There are very few businesses that I have dealt with that I would recommend this highly. Carolina Pets Animal Hospital is a great service provider.

The veterinarian that made house calls had gone on vacation and the cat took a turn for the worse. It was a very desperate situation. I just stopped at the hospital on my way to the farm. They were very accommodating and told me to bring him right in. They took him right in. I didn't have to wait. It looked as though I would have to put him down. The other option was to spend about $3000.00 on hospitalizing him which I wasn't going to do for a barn cat. They gave me an alternative much cheaper thing to just try. He is alive, well, and wonderful. They called a couple of times to check on him. They sent me a card. It was all very impromptu and they were so caring and accommodating.
