After inspecting the roof, they installed a new roof.  They tore off the old roof, replaced boards, repaired a hole, and cleaned up the site well.

They did recommend roof replacement, but I didn't feel like I really needed to do that quite yet.  I got a special for $149.  I didn’t deal with them directly.  I bought that coupon and gave it to my stepdaughter.  She contacted them.  She doesn't have a lot of experience with the work.  At that time, I was extremely busy at work and I wasn't able to get there to talk to them.  She handled them and she basically went along with what they recommended to do for the maintenance.  They didn't charge more for the basic maintenance work and they did for $149.  I was happy with that.  I understand the edge of the roof and its significance as well as many other things that need to be done.  I was prioritizing the work for that particular house.  I didn't feel like that I needed to do the replacement right now.  They did an A job.  Their responsiveness was quite good.  I didn't hear any complaints from my stepdaughter.  I've a roofing contractor to do the work here, but I would consider them.

Took some time to schedule the appointment. Phone calls from me w/ no call backs.
Folks arrived, but seemed unstructured in terms of performing the "Big Deal".  I was very uncomfortable w/ what I saw and would not use them for roof repairs or replacement in the future.
Owner did not come out, Foreman was out w/ workers. They had to send for a larger ladder. Things seemed unorganized. I had to request the recaulking of areas, they accomodated my request after my asking but otherwise were not going to do the recaulk as a part of the PM. Not sure really what PM they did as I watched the job .... did not seem anything was done but the recaulking I asked for and incrementally the boot repairs I paid for separately from the big deal.
I never received a roofing report as promised in the Big Deal. Other then the replaced boots/collars ($225... 3x $75) the Big Deal work was not performed to what was advertised. I would like to receive the $149 (for the Big Deal) back as a refund as work performed was not to what was expected / advertised.

He came out and looked.  We schedule a time for him to come out and he never showed up.  We reschedule another appointment and he never showed.

After he quoted me the price it would be to fix all my issues, I repeated everything back to him to make sure it was correct.  They always showed up a day late than what they said they would.  They came when I was not home and ripped a window out, & my 93 year old mother was home and they really frighted her.
He called me Sunday night and said that I had not paid him enough, he said that I owed him $3200 but that is not what he quoted me.  It has not rained yet, so I do not know if the roof was fixed correctly.  They always showed up when I was not home so I do not know how many hours they worked so I don't know if they are charging me correctly for the labor.

It was very bad.
Patino came. He did not even bring a ladders. He never climbed up on the roof. Did not do any sealing, just told me that looks like my exaust outlets are sealed (I know they were done 7 years back), I was expecting him to go up the roof and at least look at the things closer and re-seal the outlets as promissed in the Big Deal.

Guy spent less than 15 minutes walking around the house and talking to me and left saying my shingles had a recall. There is no problem with my roof as I regulary check my attick for leaks or wet wood etc.

$149 for 15 minutes is outragious charge and I am surprised Angie's list recommended this as a Big Deal. I feel this is complete Lemmon Deal.

I have selected the Work was done so you at least read this report. Work is not done at all as that was sold to me thru Angie's list.

The workers were polite and friendly. They worked hard and completed the work in 2 days. They cleaned up their mess. They did not damage our property in any way. The roof looks great. No leakage with recent rain. Owner replied promptly to any phone calls or emails.

The job went smoothly. The workers knew what they were doing and instilled confidence and trust in me and my family. They made sure that they cleaned up after each of the 3 days they were there. They also provided additional attention to detail by replacing bad wood not related to the roofing job. I work was detailed and estimated and confirmed with an invoice. It was a painless overall experience.

At his point, I don?t think anything about them. Their contract was not clear, and I could not read between lines. I called them to fix a leak and their contract did not address the leak. He came out and did what the contract said. I then called him and said that the roof was still leaking and he would not come out again. He then came for about five times and then stopped coming. Now I will have to get another roofer to do the job. I would say they were lousy. I told them that I wanted them to do a patch job, and I told that I did not have money for a new roof. We did not discuss new roof or replacing any part of my roof. We just discussed fixing the leak which they did not do. They were not responsive at all. From the beginning he complained about having to do so much work and that?s why he could not call me back. He said he would first give a bid for the work he was going to do and that took about three days to come. I would say their responsiveness was horrible. . I contacted them last in December. I had my roof evaluated for reverse mortgage in August and that gentleman told me that my roof was fine and it would last me for five to seven more years. He knew about the leak and the damage it cause. He addressed what needed to be in the contract. I even had this man come out and show what the real problem is. I even sent a mail about all this and they never responded it.
Response from Patino Contracting
"This was the Contract with the Member. 1. Install 3 new Pipe Boot. 2. Cut one piece of sheetrock inside the bathroom 3. Install sheetrock in the bathroom. 4. Reflash chimney 5. Install new shingles around the chimney. Patino Contracting fulfill the terms. The member was advised that the problem she had or has was not what Mr. Patino was hired for. Mr. Patino advised the member of how much it will cost to do the repair she needed. Mr. Patino went several times to the property to see what was the problem after completion of the job and the member was advised that Mr. Patino have done everything that was stated on the contract. The member knows and she certified that Mr. Patino go out several times to fulfill the terms of the contract. Sincerely, Patino Contracting."

Contacted Mr. Patino for estimate on total roof replacement. He was very personable, listened to what I wanted, made recommendations and told me that he would email me an estimate based on our discussion. Mr. Patino emailed me within 24 hours with an estimate. Upon receiving an estimate from my insurance company, I contacted Mr. Patino who was more than willing to work within the adjuster's allocation. The job was completed in about a day and a half and I am very pleased with the work performed. Mr. Patino is extremely easy to work with, very resonable and professional. I will most definately use him for additional work around my home, as well as, recommend him to friends and family
