Long time local resident selling our home through local realtor. Decided to install a small point of use reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink for new home buyer. Since the home is vacant, we authorized the realtor to make arrangements with this company while we are out of the home to install this system. Upon return, we received an 1800 dollar invoice for the installation of a 'Pentair Reverse Osmosis POU Filter System. We then went to the home and looked at the installation and to taste the water. Upon inspection, I was surprised at how small the unit was, so I decided to look it up - found out that it is a widely available unit on Amazon and several other places for under $500.00. $1984.13 charged to install a sub $500 filter system under a sink???? HIGHWAY ROBERY in my opinion. This installation is one of the most BASIC tasks - absolutely no more than 2 hours installation time for a novice. I called NW Poole Well and Pump company and was forwarded to a man named Ron. I told him I thought that there must be a mistake. He said there was no mistake and that he stood behind that invoice and those charges. When I confronted him with the fact that the unit is available for less than 500 dollars, he started talking about wholesale pricing and warrantees. The conversation devolved quickly. I hate to leave negative reviews - but this experience is no different than if you send your family member off to the mechanic with your car to only find out later that they were charged $479.00 for an oil change. Do better people! Shamefull!

Great. High degree of professionalism. Things that didn't go quite as expected were addressed promptly and without fuss. Service call four months after installation was same day and fixed same day (power surge or something blew a controller, yay living in the boonies) at no cost.

Good. I liked everything about them. I had frozen pipes and they came out and assessed the problem accurately, fairly and there price was great. My neighbor had a frozen pipe and they went there next and fixed theirs too. They are just amazing. They were the ones that drilled the well originally.

The gentleman who showed was on time and it was a fair trade. I felt good about the whole thing.

They did a thorough job of framing the project before showing up, even going so far as to offer an estimate in advance. They showed up when expected, confirmed the scope of work and the cost, and before I had a chance to call home and get an update, the work was completed.
I've had to use them in the past, on a holiday weekend, and they fixed the problem at a reasonable price. If you have a private water well and need someone to work on it for you, make sure you give N W Poole a chance to bid on the work before making a final decision.

Drilling a well is a process. First you need a permit from the county. A soil engineer comes and does soil tests and a topology study. And selects the spot where the well will be drilled. After the permit then your allowed to drill the well. As soon as I got a permit, I called and the drilling crew showed up a day after I called them. The well drilling took all day and the well is a success. After the well was drilled, the pump crew came and installed the pump. This is a big deal since a deep ditch is dug from the well to the house. The crew did the best they could to protect my garden, but still a messy project. I was extremely pleased with the both crews. They did everything that I wanted and I wanted a few things out of the ordinary.

They came out the same day when our water pressure took a sudden drop. Since Kris knew exactly what he was doing we knew what the problem was with in a hour. The had to pull the pump out from the well. Everything was explaind. Had to wait an extra day for the pump we wanted. Some poor soul had to drive over four hours to get the pump to us the next day. We needed extra documentation for the insurance company. That was done within an hour of the completion of the repairs.

I recently installed a new jet pump to complete the entire re-plumbing of my house. Got the pump primed all right three days ago, but had to fix some leaks. Upon trying to re-prime the pump after fixing my leaks, I decided to follow the directions supplied with the pump, which I hadn't done the first time, and no dice. Kris from NW Poole was kind enough to return my call even though he had his hands full on another job. However, like he said, trying to explain to someone how to prime a jet pump over the phone is like trying to explain to someone how to rebuild an engine over the phone. Unless you have done it, you don't really know what to do. So, after going without water for a day, Kris and company were able to stop by and fix my problem in about 5 minutes. Easy fixes are the best. So that being said, if you have well or pump problems, call NW Poole and they will set you right. Also there are some times that throwing directions in the garbage will save you a lot of un-needed aggrivation.

WE CALLED AT FIVE IN THE AFTERNOON AND THEY WERE HERE THE NEXT MORNING. THEY WERE EXTREMELY POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND VERY HELPFUL. THEY ALERTED US ABOUT FUTURE PROBLEMS WE MAY HAVE, TOO.
