I have see a big change in the reviews given overall and it is true I don’t get as much work through Angies list since they changed there business model to free membership so this is nice! It is easy to go above and beyond with repairs (fixing every little flaw) when the owner clearly takes such good care of it. "Yes , some times my bad experience pays off. I am so sick of these insurance companies passing off poor quality parts. It helps when I have a customer like you that is willing if needed to pay the small difference if needed to get o.e.m. Most of the time I can get the insurance co to step up or get a further discount from the dealer, but not always. Thanks for the nice review Lloyd"

"Its true that I worked on this car and its true that he called back a couple weeks later very mad and making all kind of accusations based on what he claimed was my dishonesty. It is also true he never came back , not even for either of the two appointments we made to correct what ever he did not like, and I called him both times to see what happened. His answer both times were that things came up and he was sorry , not that he had decided he did not trust me! I left hours open both times to address his concerns. When he first came in his repair consisted of damage he had caused by running in to something and then trying to push out a DENT with a screw driver himself, needless to say it was a mess and still pushed in so that the bumper was not able to snap back in place and the bracket was broken , and anyone could see it was. The fender never needed to come off the car nor did I charge him for that, the bumper did need to come off to replace the bracket , and repair the fender. Its funny he never mentioned all the free extra stuff at the same time as I was ripping him off with bad work, or the fact that he called and said he had sold the car and it was not an issue with the buyer? Very forgiving buyer I would say. Nor does he tell Angies list members that he set up an appointment on that same call to have me look at his truck and then brought it by for an estimate to repair scratches and remove dents, an estimate he claimed he liked and was going to have me repair when he had time .LOL This all happened because the bumper that I did not need to repair or charge to repair would not stay hooked on the bracket I replaced , no doubt because he left it damaged so long it was warped out of shape. My mistake was in telling him how I fixed it .... at no additional charge by using a very strong automotive Glue. I am speculating on this OF COURSE but I believe someone yanked it apart thinking the repair was not "PROPER" or something since I glued it to hold it in place! I have never had this glue fail before or since. The 200.00 extra was for a very large nasty dent on the front of roof at the windshield that I noticed when he dropped the car off for repairs and he ok'd the repair at a known price. I did not see the dent until then and I knew he was selling the car so I offered to fix it. He did not mention the fact that the scratch repair around the entire car was free and the pealing and gouged wheel flairs i repaired and painted I included in the price of painting the one fender and I removed other dents around the car for free when I did the roof dent. The car was a mess and I knew it was up for sale so I tried to help out. the final bill was 647.93 not 750.00 for all that I did. The only good thing I can say about this review is it fixed it so now I can quit dreading the day he comes back with his truck and being forced to try to please him once again. This is really sad because something has made him untrusting , vengeful, with this review and hard to deal with generally , he too has a great personality but I pity anyone who has to deal with his baggage. To the review poster... I am not trying to get even with you or anger you with this review, just clearing my name! Getting even is not going to do you or me any good. The F you gave me for price and D for quality will take care of its self when you get future work done elsewhere.
