Water had pooled around the base of the hvac system in the basement and we called Josh at All Ways Heating and Cooling.  He came out the same day and diagnosed the problem as a defective humidifier.  The unit was disconnected and sealed off.  I didn't want the humidifier replaced so the job was complete.  It was totally worth the cost and we were fortunate that he came within a few hours of our call.

Our two heat pumps have been serviced annually by 3  of the largest HVAC companies in Asheville.  Every year during the  summer we would wake up to intense humidity and warm air.  One of the heat pumps would be covered with ice and we no longer had air conditioning.  The previous companies always told us that there was probably a leak that was undetectable and charged us a hefty amount for the inspection and to add more freon.  I decided to try another company this year and called Josh at All Ways Heating and Air.  He arrived on the scheduled date and time and started the inspection immediately.   It was the most thorough inspection I'd ever seen.  When I told him about the annual problem with the freon, he continued to inspect the system until the problem was identified and repaired with a part in stock on his truck.  After the repair, he changed all the filters in the house.  Josh is very knowledgeable, respectful and responsible.  His prices are more than fair and we were more than happy with the total experience. He's definitely our new HVAC man.
