Solid Surface Specialist

Initially, everything looked great. I was unable to be at the site of installation, and they seemed to be able to take care of everything. However, they stated when the template and installation would be, and both times they had to re-schedule (after I had told my other trades people about the schedule). Then, I found that they had cut the quarts into four pieces, making two seams in very obvious areas. The seams were not initially done right, so they had to come out and re-set the stone. The problem was really that the person who had decided to cut the stone, did not configure it correctly. Or, as I sort of suspect, they decided to make my countertop (because it was not very large) from scraps that they had from other jobs. This was a real shock, and I would never use them again. My other trades people said that it was a shoddy job, and that I should have used the other countertop company in Waynesville. So, my advice -- GO to them.

Friendly, knowledgeable, good selection of slabs, helpful in evaluating design's +/-, reasonable price levels, prompt, owners participated, team members knew what they were doing, up to date equipment, clean, and trustworthy.

For the most part, the experience was good. The installation of the granite went smoothly. The quality of the work performed was very good. Since our countertops were expanded, we were told that we needed to put corbels underneath to support some sections. I feel as if this company should have had a selection of corbels in their showroom to show us instead of just recommending that we go to Home Depot to get the corbels which we have to install ourselves. Home Depot only sells one kind of corbel at its store so we have had to order them online from another company and have to wait several weeks for the corbels to arrive. In the meantime, we have our countertops supported by pieces of wood. I feel as if we were left hanging so that has detracted from what would have been a top notch experience. Also, we decided that possibly that we would like to have the rest of the backsplash in the kitchen done in the granite. I called and it took a week for my calls to be returned only to be told that they would not be able to do the job since there was no remaining slab left from that lot. I understand that the colors would not match up. I feel as if the company could have provided me an alternative soultion and help me pick out tile to match the granite countertops instead of telling me no that they couldn't do the job. My guess is that since we weren't redoing the whole kitchen (meaning more money for them), they couldn't be bothered with helping me to complete my kitchen.

From the very first visit they were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They made my color selection an easy process with their input we have put together the kitchen of my dreams. All work was completed on time and for a very fair price. I would definately recommend them.
