We contacted Scruggs Heating and Cooling for advice on how to best address our sunroom's HVAC needs. Though connected to the house's central system, the method by which the forced air was routed to the sunroom left it usable for only three seasons; it was just too cold to use during most of the winter.  After looking over our existing HVAC system and its configuration, Steve and Cindy Scruggs recommended a Mitsubishi split-ductless system. They gave us a quote for the installation of a unit in both the sunroom and basement - - which was also inadequately heated/cooled -- with one outdoor unit servicing both indoor units. We are extremely pleased with our decision; they installed the system in one day and at the quoted price. They made sure the units all worked properly and showed us how to clean the filters and operate the remotes. They went above and beyond by removing the old ductwork to the sunroom and they also did a thorough clean-up. The units work great and it seems they are properly sized for the rooms. We are happy to be able to enjoy the rooms year-round.
Steve and Cindy Scruggs from the get-go were prompt, courteous and professional. They returned our calls and arrived at the scheduled times. They recommended an electrician and helped to coordinate his visit. We were also pleased with the electrician's work.
