Vince Medford came over the same day and provided a competitive quote that included use of his bucket truck. He completed the work the very next day! The job was completed exactly as he planned. We will definitely use Medford Tree service again.

Very well. This guy is on point. He came out within 2 hours of my initial call, looked at the trees, and pulled all three down that afternoon. I have no complaints, and would use him again.

Let me begin by saying I never give reviews and I mean NEVER...whether it be good, bad, whatever, I just hardly ever take the time. This time however, I just had to write one.  I had a very large tree in a backyard, of a property I am trying to sell. Some of the limbs I could tell were damaged and maybe even dead, but I really did not have it in the budget for this property to have it cut down, so I was just hoping and praying none fell out or down on the house, or fence of the next door neighbors. Well, a limb did fall out and I knew I had to call someone to come look and give me an estimate, and Medford's Tree Service was the first one I called.  Mr. Medford came to the property in about 30 minutes and looked at the tree, saw my situation, and said he could help.  His price was reasonable, I did not feel like he was trying to overcharge just an average working class person.  Well, I expected him to say he would be back in a day or two, how about he went right to his truck... got out his big chain-saw, tree climbers and headed back to the tree..I was like "are you going to do this by yourself, do you not need some help?"  He climbed up in the tree and started taking out limbs.  He had to cut out all of them due to so much damage, but was done within an hour. I was amazed!!  He was professional, very nice and did the job right then!!  Now I am sure sometimes he might not be able to always do that on the spot, but he could have put my job off and made me wait, but he didn't and I really appreciate it.  I would recommend him and his service to anyone, residential or commercial, and in the future when I have a need for a tree service Medford's will be the ONLY one I call!

Very well. He showed up on time, did a great job explaining the process and was very safety minded since the tree was hanging over the house.  His price was a bit high but his work ethic and responsiveness was worth it.

Vince showed up with a helper less than an hour after I called him to give me an estimate for taking down a tree that was leaning toward my house. He convinced me that another tree, which was growing at the top of a steep slope, should come down too. Having it down would also provide a space to fell the leaning tree. I agreed to his price which did not include hauling the trees off or clean up.
They started the work right away. He had to climb the leaning tree to get a rope on it to prevent it from falling onto the house. Taking the other tree down was pretty routine, just making sure to fell it away from the house. After the trees were down they got them far enough down the slope that I was able to get them to the bottom with a fair amount of effort. I had told them the soil on the slope was pretty unstable and asked them to try not to disturb it any more than they had to. They did a pretty job of that. They were done in approximately an hour. 

Satisfactory. Efficient and reasonably priced.

When we first bought our house in 2009, we needed some trees trimmed and removed. We used Medford Tree Service that time because he quoted us an excellent price when he came to give us a quote and was available to do the work immediately. He did an excellent job and was very polite and inexpensive. This year we decided we wanted a very large poplar tree and walnut tree cut down completely and we called him this morning, he came within the hour, prepared to work, quoted us an excellent price again and cut down the two trees immediately. Since we had obtained quotes from a couple other companies the first time we used him we did not obtain any other quotes and were more than satisfied with the work he did and the price he quoted. We would use him again and would recommend him to others. The large poplar he just felled in the woods and the walnut he cut into managable pieces. He did not preform clean up or extensive cutting work as we will do that ourselves and use the logs for firewood.

Excellent experience. I called today just inquiring about some tree triming. He offered to come right out and give me an estimate. He was here within a 1/2 hour which suprised me. We spoke about what I wanted done and he made a quote for service and told me everything they would do.
Then, to my surprise, he offered to take care of the work right away if he could get his partner out with the chipper. He made a call and got that confirmation and started work.

They were done very quickly, cleaned it all up and were done for the day.

I did not expect to get anything done today and ended up having it all taken care of.

Mr. Medford came promptly following a phone call to provide an estimate. He explained what needed to be done, indicated that he was available that day and quoted a fair price. He and a helper performed the tree removal, and cleaned everything up completely. He was fast, and competent.
