We were charged $600 for them to fix the hot water heater and they did not do the wiring correctly. The repair did not work. They would not answer our calls or refund money. Had to hire another plumber to do the repair.

Did not fix problem and charged $600 for repair that did not work. Had to hire another plumber who determined that Royal Flush did not wire it properly when they replaced the elements. No response or refund from Royal Flush

Not been long enough to see quality of work but work was done for a customer whos husband is sick and in nursing home and unable to do simple home maintenance. She was charged 300 dollars for an assessment of the situation and another 420 for the completed work. So a total of over 700 . Extra things were done but not asked for and were charged for. Bill was itemized but with no dollar about beside each item. When asked if the 300 was for materials she got no answer. She feels taken advantage of in a major way.

Very prompt response to our call about clogged pipes. Accurate diagnosis of tree root intrusion into sewer line in the yard. Plumber caused a huge mess in basement from pipe overflow when he couldn't get cap back on pipe. Poorly maintained and outdated equipment led to incorrect determination of sewer line location in yard. This led to excessive digging and unneeded damage to a large oak tree's roots. estimated 2 day job took 4 days and then they asked for much more money (which we didn't pay). They left the driveway a complete mess of mud. The owner's son did the work and complained about the business. The owner seemed disengaged and didn't return two of our calls after job completion (to give him feedback). This company is not what it once was and we cannot recommend their services,

Fine, did job completed quickly. Nice enough...did leave a mess behind though. I suppose it wasn't technically his job to do, that was just my assumption.

He did visit our home yesterday, however, after a 3 minute visit he determined that the water heater was not leaking "at that moment" and thus since we were a "home warranty" client and not a "direct call to him" client, he could not do anything for us as he states that he can only fix a “leaking hot water tank” and since it was "not leaking at that minute", he could not help us even though he DID confirm that there was water leak damage in the flooring around the hot water heater in this new construction home that had not been occupied or even had water service hooked up prior to our purchase and closing of the home.  (To me, that alone should have justified our claim as there was clear evidence that the tank HAD leaked and thus a problem DOES exist even though it was not leaking out water in the floor at that second in time)..  Regardless, once he noted no water at that second, he said he could not do anything as far as a “warranty claim” repair.  He then collected our $45 copay under the terms of our Home Warranty with them also paying him a discounted additional fee. However, he did explain to me that had we been "direct to his company" clients, he stated that he could do a “pressure check” and could do other things to determine where the leak was at (again, since there was obvious leak damage).   However, if we wanted him to do that, the price for that was $150 per hour and off the record of our home warranty claim.

They were prompt, polite and the service was good, but...they charged $125 to fix a leaky faucet with materials provided by me.  It only took them 15=20 minutes.

Good.  He came on time and did a very thorough job.  Also informed us as to how to make improvements for the future so we won't have the same problem.

I called at about 11am, and they were out to my house at 2:30. He evaluated the leak, and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He had to replace a few parts, and double checked everything to make sure it worked. He also replaced a small faucet filter which I'd asked him to look at while he was there. Robert and his son were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I would certainly call them if I have future problems, and would highly recommend them.

Called on Monday. By lunch time on Tuesday; washer dryer vent installed. Bob was professional, accommodating and friendly. I have used less expensive plumbers in the past but the promptness and quality of work more than made up for the marginal extra cost. Except for the and quot;penny wise and pound foolishand quot; would reccoment Royal Flush without reservation.

I have to say that I love this company.
Not only is Mr. Moore a great plumber, he is a great human being.

I am my brother's primary caregiver, but I live four hours away from him in another city. Although my brother is a dear heart, his autisum prevents him from having some of the social skills that make for smooth conversation with others, especially strangers. This means that I have to be very careful about whom to hire as service contractors to help me keep his house in running order.

Mr. Moore and his crew won my brother's trust instantly, and got along beautifully with him. It means a lot to me that I have found plumber who is not only great at his trade, but is also just a downright decent, likeable, trustworthy human being that I know we can count on when we need him.

Quite honestly, I have no idea why one of the reviewers on this site posted such a scathingly negative review of A Royal Flush and of Mr. Moore. We could not have been talking about the same company/person. As a read the review more closely, though, I realized that Mr. Moore did not actually do any work for the person in question. I asked Mr. Moore about the review. He said that he had not had a chance to go to the person's house as planned to fix their toilet because Mr.Moore's son got into a serious car accident and was in the hospital thta day. The caller was apparently so furious from the get-go, he never even gave Mr. Moore a chance to explain his side of things. To my mind, this person's report on Angie's List is unfair. It is obvious that the report is mean spirited, and it is not at all an accurate appraisal of this company services.

I contacted this company on Thursday, 7/7/11, in the morning, and told the man who answered the phone that I had a stopped-up toilet. He told me that someone would come to my home and quot;between 1 and 3and quot; that afternoon, explaining that and quot;all of my people are out right at the moment.and quot; I provided my name and phone number to the company. After I went to my workplace on Thursday at 1:00pm, leaving my mother-in-law with a signed blank check for services, someone from this company called and told her that they would have to come by and quot;first thing in the morningand quot; on Friday, 7/8/11. When this company neither showed up nor called us by noon on Friday, I called them back and complained that they had not shown up or contacted us. The man who answered the phone at that time mentioned that a truck had broken down but never explained why we had not been contacted. He became extremely rude to me and used profane and foul language at me, which led me to report this company to Angie's List.

We don't need the foul language. We don't need the failed communication. We don't need this company's failure to meet its stated commitments. We needed someone to come out when they tell us they will come out, and fix the problem. We found another plumber. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Please also be aware that this company does not list its physical or e-mail addresses either in the Asheville Area Yellow Book (published 2010-2011 by Charter Communications) nor on its website. That should have been a huge red flag for me!
