Great Work - and it is still working.

After experiencing recurring & related expensive problems w/ our GrandFather Clock using the same repairman in our area, I decided to find someone else. After calling most clock repair providers in the Rock HIll / Charlotte region I spoke w/ a Lady by the name of Kristen Devine @ The Antique Clock Shop. She is the Daughter of Kemp Heinbaugh who is the Clock Repair Specialist. She was a ' real ' person w/ obvious Customer Service Skills. She listened to my problems & quotes that I was given for repair by my current repairman & others that I had called. Kristen assured me that Her Father, Kemp, would take a look w/ his many years of experience and fix the problem once and for all @ a reasonable price. Once I explained what I had been paying the ' Other Guy ' they both said that his fees were ridiculous & later discovered that he had not performed all the services he had charged for. Mr Heinbaugh came to my home & diagnosed the issues w/ our aging Clock in a kind & no nonsense manner that made you feel very comfortable. What he said made sense & his estimate and final charges were less than half of what I was quoted by the ' Other Guy '. After ordering parts & repairing the GrandFather Clock The Antique Clock Shop has backed up their repairs w/ a two year unlimited warranty. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I only wished I had called them first over four years ago. Also in a very unscientific testament; my dog Maximus, who doesn't like anybody, loved Kemp. Thank you Kristen & Mr Kemp Heinbaugh !

He services all kinds of clocks, he was great.

They were very willing to provide next day service. They were able to get the clock running again. They were extremely responsive and I'm thinking about having him come back out to look at another clock he worked on that isn't working yet.

This clock has not run in 25 years and now "runs like a clock". The price quoted was the price paid and they even offered to come to my house to make sure it was set up correctly.

Arrived on time, spent about 30 minutes cleaning the clock. Said it needed a new gear but did not recommend replacement until it actually broke to save expense. Clock was not chiming the correct hour, but did not notice until he had left.

STILL HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CLOCK. HE HAS DONE REPAIRS ON THE CLOCK FOUR TIMES AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK. WHEN I CALL HE SOUNDS ANNOYED. HE PICKED UP THE CLOCK IN MAY, STILL NO CALL WITH UPDATE ON THE WORK (IN JULY). HE STILL HAS CLOCK. THE CLOCK HAS A TWO YEAR WARRANTY.

VERY FAST AND COURTEOUS, HOWEVER THE CLOCK HAS HAD TO BE LOOKED AT 2 MORE TIMES. ANNOYING THAT IT KEEPS BREAKING DOWN AFTER I PAID SO MUCH TO HAVE IT REPAIRED.

MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY CLEARLY A LOVER OF CLOCKS

I CALLED TWO COMPANIES, HIS QUOTE WAS A LITTLE BIT LOWER AND WHEN HE FINISHED THE WORK IT ENDED UP COSTED EVEN LESS THAN HE QUOTED! THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN VERY OFTEN.
