I felt they were milking the clock in order to get more money. Now I'm not to worried about the price, but the principal of him milking the clock showed how unprofessional the job was done. I explained to him that someone in the house had allergies and asked him to remove his shoes. He got a bad attitude when I asked him to do this. The bookcase was assembled poorly and looks as though it could fall over. I would have appreciated if he would have bolted it to the wall. Included in that price is a fuel charge and a van stock charge for a total of $30.

"I would ask that members understand that I am first to admit that we had some issues with the way our company handled our scheduling, work, and customer issues in 2006 when we worked for this member. This report is just now being posted, five years after the fact. It seems very unfair to me to post this today. Our company is totally different today. The people involved from the person answering the phone to the technicians and technical manager are no longer with us. We have improved our communications processes, and hired much more skilled technicians. The owners are much more involved in the management and daily operations of the company. Our goal is customer satisfaction through professionalism in all aspects of our business."

Arrived and fixed the door the same day I called to set appointment. Gave great advice as to possible door replacement price ranges and even sent me out to the hardware store to buy the replacement deadbolt lock, so I wouldn't have to pay a marked up price. The only suggestion I have is that I never heard a follow up after that day to give me prices/options on replacing the door. That would have been a nice addition to the already great work.

They milked the clock and charged me 477 dollars. The work for hanging the pictures was not great. Several holes where made in my walls when they were the hanging the pictures. He did not even mud the holes, he just used the pictures to hide the holes. I felt the gentlemen was taking advantage of me.

"WE WORKED FOR THIS MEMBER IN 2007. WE WORKED AT HER HOME TWICE IN DECEMBER OF 2007. THE CUSTOMER NEVER CONTACTED OUR OFFICE TO EXPRESS ANY CONCERN WITH THE WORK. I AM SURE IT IS NOW TOO LONG SINCE THE WORK TO MAKE ANY REPAIRS, BUT I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO WORK WITH THE MEMBER TO ADDRESS ANY ISSUE. IT IS ALL BUT IMPOSSIBLE TO ADDRESS ISSUES IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEY ARE THERE."

The work scope changed after water damage was uncovered. I received a verbal estimate of $600 more for repair of water damage added to the original 2,700 estimate and credit back for canceled work on my sidewalk and another sheet rock repair. 4 days were quoted originally 33 hours were delivered.

The employee that was sent to do the job was fully competent and the work he did was acceptable. However, the scheduling of the work, the lack of manpower to perform the work, the constant pulling him from job to job, and the lack of response by management does not bode well for the organization. In short, I would use the employee for another job; however, not sure about the company.

Job 1: During a recent rain storm, my wife noticed water coming into the house from a window frame. Having done work with Mr. Handyman in the past, I called them. They were there quickly and isolated the problem fast. I was given a range of option for fixing it along with their upfront prices. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Handyman to everyone I talk to. Job 2: The service was prompt and done to perfection. Thanks!

I HAD ALL OF THE MATERIALS. IT TOOK 3 WEEKS, BUT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 2 DAYS. THE WINDOW WASHERS AND THE PRESSURE WASHERS WERE SUB CONTRACTED. THEY DID A FINE JOB; THE OTHER WORK WAS DONE BY THE COMPANY ITSELF AND WELL, BUT TOOK ENTIRELY TOO LONG.

JOB 1: I WAS OUT OF THE COUNTRY WHEN MY WIFE NOTICED THAT AFTER A VIOLENT THUNDERSTORM, WE WERE MISSING SEVERAL SECTIONS OF SHINGLES. NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, I HAD HER CALL DALE AND HIS CSR WAS THERE TO HELP. HIS GUY ARRIVED VERY QUICKLY, DID THE JOB NEATLY AND PROFESSIONALLY. WHEN HE WAS DONE, HE ASKED IF THERE WAS ANYTHING ELSE HE COULD DO AND LEFT. WHEN WE GOT THE BILL WE WERE FLOORED. WE WERE EXPECTING TO PAY SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS "EMERGENCY JOB" AND IT WAS ONLY $150.00. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MR. HANDYMAN TO ANYONE! JOB 2: THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME THEY WERE AT OUR HOME FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. THE PART OF THE ROOF THAT CAME OFF THE FIRST TIME, HELD STRONG, THIS TIME THERE WERE MORE SHINGLES AND SOME FLASHING. THE WHOLE PROCESS FROM CALL TO COMPLETION WAS FAST & VERY PROFESSIONAL! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE USE OF THEIR SERVICE.
