 + -1 moreTom did a great job and was very knowledgeable about tile installation. I had the square footage so he first gave me an estimate over the phone, which he honored. I obtained the tile. We discussed the installation and he gave me advice on tile types and the nuances of installation. Tom was very caring about the property while he was working. He covered everything and cleaned up after himself. He also was great about advising me on the grout and steered me away from problems. The back splash looks great. Tom is an honest guy. I would recommend him to others.
Description of Work: I had a kitchen backsplash installed. I obtained the tile. It was 1 inch tiles on 12x12 backing sheets and 3/8 inch thick, marble mosaic. Tom provided the thin set and grout in the price. There was no tear down; it was installed on painted walls over kitchen counters. It took 2 days - one day for thin set and one day for grout. I sealed after grout was dried per Tom's advice.
