LAWNS ON PROVIDENCE

Hired Jared Broome to do a huge gut job renovation in our back yard and some additional drainage in our front yard to bury our down spouts. The job started out great, and he was very involved and hands on. As the job went on, little things here and there seemed off. During the project, they ran a pipe under my front cement walkway. They must have cracked it, because they laid down a new large cement block. Issue is, he never discussed it with me, and it doesn’t match at all. He told me to my face it would match after it weathered a bit, but I’ve been told by other professionals since, that it’ll never match. He also put in a drain and cement surround right off this eyesore and created another in front of my front entryway. It looks terrible. The water from the front was supposed to go out to the street. Instead he piped it around to the back of my house and back out to the front. It literally has to go all the way around my house which was not in our original plan. Part of the scope of the job was power washing our back porch screens from the construction dust. His company power washed and ruined our cultured stone wall which was only approx 3 years old. We were patient for him to fix it, but finally a year later, the stone was slapped back on, but it looks terrible, and they never mortared it. He has ghosted us and won’t finish the job. He has also ghosted another home in our neighborhood. He is now hiding under a new company name…Oak & Stone.

I USED THEM FOR ABOUT 9 MONTHS BEFORE I GOT AROUND TO GETTING QUOTES FROM OTHER LAWN SERVICES. THE QUOTES THAT I RECEIVED FROM OTHER PROVIDERS WERE ALL 1/3 TO 1/2 LESS THAN WHAT LAWNS ON PROVIDENCE WAS CHARGING ME. THE REASON GIVEN BY LAWNS ON PROVIDENCE WAS THAT THEY WERE INSURED, ETC. - LEADING TO HIGHER COSTS. ALL THE OTHER PROVIDERS ARE ALSO INSURED. THE OWNERS ARE VERY NICE BUT THEY CAN'T KEEP UP. THEY RETURN PHONE CALLS PROMPTLY, BUT THE WORK DOESN'T NECESSARILY FOLLOW. IT TOOK THEM MONTHS TO GET AROUND TO TRIMMING MY HEDGES - THE FIRST TIME. THEY NEVER GOT AROUND TO THE SECOND TRIMMING AND I GOT TIRED OF ASKING.

THEY DO A GREAT JOB WITH LAWN CARE. ADDITIONAL SERVICES SUCH AS HEDGE TRIMMING AND PINE STRAW APPLICATION DID COST EXTRA. THAT USUALLY TAKES A FEW PHONE CALLS AND SEVERAL WEEKS WAIT.

MR. BOONE DOES GOOD WORK.
