Selected Harvey's Plumbing from Angies List, received call back in less than 10 minutes, with appointment within two hours. Harvey diagnosed problem as worn flow valve that was destroyed by corrosion due to age (20 year old home with well/septic). Then the comedy began... Turned off electric to water pump, drained most water from lines. Interior house ball valve just rotated but did not shut off water. Well water ball valve under house would not fully shut off water flow to house. The faucet screw was badly corroded and fell apart when removing same but valve eventually replaced. Then, the interior house ball valve broke off while he was trying to replace it, resulting in water spewing everywhere (there was still some pressure in the lines). He was able to quickly stop water flow. So now we need him to return to replace the two ball valves and check all valves throughout the house. Harvey was very polite, explained what/why he was doing as he went along. The comedy was the unexpected failure of two valves and of no fault to Harvey. He was very professional and has the heart of a teacher. Will have him back soon.

My neighbor was walking his dog, and came to the house to let me know that water was flooding the road, and it was
coming from my well house.    I called Harveys plumbing, he told me to shut water off in the garage, and he was
at the house within 30 minutes.  The whole thing was complete within 45 minutes. 
I will always use Harvey for any plumbing needs.  I was very impressed.

Also during that visit Harvey assisted the school with an issue it was having with the sanitation inspection and the septic system.  Harvey took his time to meet with the officials involved in order that we could better understand what was being required.  Harvey, an honest Christian man has always stood ready to assist Creative Care Christian Preschool with any issues that may arise.  His heart and passion for this Christian Ministry and anyone who is in need of an honest ands trustworthy person is admirable.

 Harvey was very respectful and always on time. He would suggest cost saving measures that would also increase the performance of our daily plumbing needs.  We never felt like he was trying to get more money out of us by doing unnecessary projects.   We have used Harvey's Plumbing Inc. for over 20 years now and will continue to do so in the future. 

Went well until we went into  the kitchen and realized that his saw had cut through several places of our kitchen wall.  He had not realized it until we called him about it.  However he did take care of the bill for repairing.

That was pretty good. He was very nice. I think the cost was a little bit much for what he did. He is an older man who works by himself but he is able. I don't think I will call him again because he is expensive but he was helpful.

Harvey came highly referred and he did not disappoint, he's a master -lumber with years of experience and really gives you the 'straight skinny' of what is going on, how much it will cost, what portion of the job you can do yourself to save some $ or how much it will cost if he does the work for you. He gave us options and was a gentleman on site, including doing extra clean-up we did not expect after the job. Specifically, our water main made a constant 'singing' noise in colder months, and it was due to a cheap valve the builders use at the street connection. All is new and improved and we are very happy to know we have a trustworthy, reliable and skilled professional like Harvey to rely upon in times of need!

Did not have a hot/cold exterior faucet, suggested we cut off hot water side , so he sealed the hot water line, and installed a cold water faucet only. Went home and returned with masonry to close larger hole around new faucet.

The project went very well. Harvey showed up as scheduled and completed his work quickly, efficiently and at the price quoted. He was very congenial and knew exactly what to do. When the work was through the area was cleaned up and the tub worked perfectly. After he left I felt that I had made a friend to call on future projects.

In early June of this year, we had Harvey Wadell, of Harvey's Plumbing (from Angie's List), install a water softener and osmosis system in our home. Harvey had responded to an emergency call from me about a year ago for a leak at my son's home, so I called him again, to do this work for us. This report does not concern the water softener or osmosis system, which are great. But while Harvey was here, I told him I wanted a new instant hot water and cold water spout to work from the osmosis system. I wanted the brushed steel, but it would not work with my existing faucet, so on Harvey's suggestion I replaced it with a new brushed steel Moen faucet, which looks great.
About 3 1/2 weeks after the installation was completed, on a Sunday afternoon, my husband went to his downstairs office; he heard a noise from the back of the house and went to check it out. He found, in our guest bedroom, there had been a steady leak, which had turned into a bad leak coming from the kitchen above. We called Harvey and he came as soon as he could on a Sunday, in his Church clothes, to check on our problem. He found a pin hole leak in a joint of the Moen faucet pipe. He and his wife, also a professional plumber, took a moving picture, as well as, still ones, showing the problem under the sink and the damage that had been done down stairs. Harvey called Moen personally, told them of the problem, and gave us a name of contract. Moen agreed to send us a new faucet, and would take a look at the films, have their engineer dept. examine the faulty faucet and would get back to us. It took Moen, about half the time to get our claim settled than it did in trying to deal with our home owners insurance. Our cost to Harvey was $195 to reinstall the new faucet, which entailed having to take out and replace the garbage disposal. This cost was not covered by our insurance. He called us several times to see if w needed help on getting the settlement from Moen.
We received the check from Moen (they were absolutely great to work with since we had documented and had pictures of the problem) paying all of our out of pocket expenses from the damage.
Harvey and his wife are a great team. They are the best and most responsive plumbers, we have every done business with. I would trust Harvey to be in my home, without me being present. He has the honesty and integrity one wished all workers one employed would have.

We have used Harvey's Plumbing for twenty years and we are always pleased with him all the way around. We consider Harvey and Delia friends and wouldn't use anyone else unless there was a dire emergency.

The price included the new toilet and they did an excellent job. They are a team of husband and wife. Their price was very reasonable. They were reliable and nice. I would highly recommend them to others.

He did a great job. He was very reasonable. For what he did, the other places were charging about $300 and he charged about half of that. He and his wife come out to do the job. They are prompt and they give me a call before they come. Overall it's just great. I would give them five stars. I haven't had any problems since he did the work. He did things when he said he would. I will use him again in the future if I need to.

They were very punctual. They are very easy to work with and they come when they are scheduled. I never had a problem with them being late. They were excellent.

Our toilet had stopped up two evenings ago, and despite our efforts to plunge and snake it, it was really plugged. I searched Angie's List and found Harvey's Plumbing, located near our home. Harvey called me back quickly and arranged to be at my house Wednesday morning at 10. Both Harvey and his wife were friendly and professional, arrived on time, and were careful not to make a mess - or more of a mess than I had already made. In two minutes, with his plumber-sized snake, Harvey removed a metallic plastic drink envelope from the toilet. With four kids here at home, I had suspected someone had flushed something they shouldn't have. I am very happy with the service we received, the fair price, and the fact that they arrived on time. I've added Harvey's business card to my Rolodex for any future plumbing needs. Edited May 2011: I wanted to add another chapter to our relationship with Harvey's Plumbing. On the evening December 23, 2010 we had a pipe break *INSIDE* the wall behind our upstairs toilet. We had massive flooding before we got the water to the whole house turned off. I called Harvey at home at 10 p.m., in tears, and told him what had happened. He comforted me on the phone and asked if I wanted him to come out right then. I told him to wait until morning since we had the water turned off and were still mopping up water all over the upstairs and putting buckets under the water dripping through the ceiling downstairs. He came out the next morning with all the needed supplies and spent several hours cutting into the wall behind the toilet, replacing the broken pipe and replacing the water shutoff valve. He replaced the shutoff valve on the other upstairs toilet too. He worked quickly so we could turn on the water in the house - we had a sink full of dishes and nobody had taken a shower, much less used the toilet, since the night before. He was very kind and gracious, spending his Christmas Eve on his knees behind a toilet. And in the end he only charged us $424 for over 4 hours of work - it was Christmas Eve and he could have easily charged us double time for working on a holiday. I'll forever be grateful for Harvey's help!

Old, remodeled farmhouse on a well with some newer plumbing but most still 70's era. Waterline under the house burst so no water to the house, flood under the house. Called Harvey's Plumbing and they were here within the hour and put a temp fix on the problem. Investigation showed nearly all the connections throughout the house were corroded and the aged piping was no longer sound either. In addition, the water softener was not working well any more as it was way past its life expectancy. (Who knew?!?) Having trusted Harvey and his wife, Delia, with many successful plumbing projects in the past, we agreed to have them do all the work they recommended. By the way, they are both licensed Master Plumbers. All work was done carefully and with minimal disruption to our water supply. They reconnected the water to the house for the overnight between workdays. Considering the accessibility problems in this old, patched-together house, some of the new lines had to be positioned with some pretty creative planning. The crawl space under the house is only about 18" high and it was well over 90 degrees outside. Always courteous and in good humor, they were patient with our many questions and made it a point to show us exactly why each part of the project was necessary. They suggested several cost-saving ideas and recommended someone to repair the several walls that had to be breeched. After completion and thorough testing, they made sure all lines were clear and working properly and the incoming water was clean and clear. They instructed us on further "priming" the softener and filter systems after we declined their offer to do it for us since they had worked hard for three solid days. All work areas were kept neat and clean throughout and trash removed. Harvey will return this week to re-check water quality and pressures. This is just the quality of service anyone can expect from Harvey's Plumbing. Wonderful!

Harvey, his wife, and his son are all master plumbers. I love their work, their prices are reasonable and they always go the extra mile for me. Harvey is very professional and a great guy.
