We met with Doug at his shop. It was obvious he knew his business extremely well. We scheduled a time for him to come out. He was there exactly when he said he would be. He went over several different options with us and promised to get back to us with an estimate within a day. The estimate arrived as promised. However, this was unlike any estimate I ever saw before. It was completely broken down so that a client could see exactly how every dollar of their money was being allocated on the job. For example, there was a page for hardscape materials, hardware, electrical work and then a separate page for the cost of labor. In essence Doug showed us how much money he was making to do this job. After accepting the job Doug communicated with us via email and told us what he would be doing, what we should expect by certain points along the way and an approximate finish date.
