BEST RATE TREE SVC

Not well. Troy the owner was disorganized, not forthcoming and did a bait and switch. First off he does not provide itemized invoice for the work before he does it. He does work without any authorization and then charges what comes to my mind. He installed an irrigation head charging $1200 extra without getting written consent. He promised a nice green lawn and didn't even cultivate the soil. I have multiple other professionals come after him that tell me that he left it rocky without and conditioning of the soil. The lawn looks worse than before he did all the work. The irrigation system was supposed to have a rain sensor. After I complained he put one in. It doesn't even work. After constant calls and emails and texts he has not fixed it. After complaining about unauthorized work he conceded and was willing to give me a tree to be included. To my dismay he gave me a transplant that died within weeks of planting. He would not honor to replace with healthy tree. I had to go get a replacement and after weeks of hounding he planted it at no charge. He also placed a stone walk way that was subpar quality. After a strong rain the stones were displaced. He said he would a mortar mix to at minimum would hold but it looks terrible and have to redo it. Troy the owner gets you with his soft spoken demeanor and overpromises and under delivers. He is good at pruning big trees but his landscaping offerings is just not his thing. Don't use him for anything but pruning trees. I am frustrated and upset with literally the tens of thousands of invested to only find my lawn and landscaping is not good at all. I would not recommend him to anyone! With so many landscapers out there I would recommend someone else.
