He showed up quickly and promptly began rekeying the locks.  He let me watch him work and explained what he was doing, which I found interesting.  He also adjusted some locks that were slightly mis-aligned, explaining how alignment affects door closure and lock performance.  He left me smarter than he found me, and did it politely and professionally.

Peter responded and was to my location in less than 15 minutes. In less than a minute he had my car open and the keys that were on the seat in my hand! Very personable. Would highly recommend!

Mr. Balgard answered the phone promptly, took my request, and was available on the date and time I requested. On the day of the service called to see if I was home, showed up on time, looked at the job, gave me the total cost, and finished the job in about an hour. Everything went smoothly.

Excellent experience from start to finish. I called BALGARD LOCKSMITH at 4:15 on Friday. Peter answered the phone right away, took some information and scheduled an appointment for 5:30 the same day!. He arrived at 5;28pm did a quick assessment, went to the truck to gather the neccesary tools and began working. He was finished in 15 mins and the peep hole looks great!

Called Balgard around 11am to replace some locks and re-key some others. Peter the owner showed up about 2 hours later and was done in 45 minutes or so. Prompt, professional, and very nice. Would recommend.

Mr. Balletta came to my work place first and replaced a new door lock and handle and make duplicate keys. He then followed me to my residence and rekeyed and repaired 12 locks for our home and garage. Mr. Balletta was very professional, very knowledgable about his trade and went out of his way to make sure that all doors lined up and worked properly. We enjoyed his company and would highly recommend him to any of our friends and neighbors.

The lock to our front door never worked properly and it finally broke. I purchased a lock set and called Balgard Locksmith to install it. He arrived right on time. He had all the right tools to adjust the deadbolt opening in the door frame and position the new lock set. He even fixed a manufacturer defect in the lock set so that it would operate smoothly. If you want the job done right, hire Balgard. He knows what he is doing and has all the right tools.

The phone was answered immediately and he set a time to come out within two hours of our conversation. He showed up on time and proceeded to replace the broken cylinder. I had gone out and purchased a new handle as a precaution. The complete new handle set (which I returned) was $47, the locksmith charged me $135. All in all, he was personable, competent and showed up when promised. I probably could have done this myself for a lot cheaper, but lacked the confidence to do so.

They came on an instant's notice. I was so grateful. Mr Balletta proceeded to replace the locks on the doors with deadbolts and added the extra long latchplates at my request. I hadnt asked for an estimate, but had a general idea what to expect from having something similar done in a previous home.

I called on a Saturday morning. He arrived two hours later, (10 minutes ahead of his appointed time). He furnished all keys. Did the work quickly and efficiently, I was showing the duplex at the time and he was very courteous to my new tenants. He keeps digital records of all keys so I will be able to convert my other rentals to the same master key when the tenants change.
