Backyard Solutions has been nothing short of amazing repairing my deck. They are the epitome of professionalism, hard working, responsible and friendly. Not only that, but they are REASONABLE! I can’t stress enough how in this day and age how refreshing it is to find a company that truly values their customers and is not greedy. Their work was exceptional and I plan on using them again for future needs!

We recently had our old dangerous high deck torn down. We chose BACKYARD SOLUTIONS, LLC of Waxhaw to do all the work. We now have a new, safe, to code, fabulous beautiful deck thanks to this Company of Shannon & Joe and their Team! We are so very pleased and excited about our new deck! Joe and his crew did an outstanding job rebuilding a deck our original contractor had screwed up several years ago, and we had paid big bucks for. The original deck had composite deck boards, which were mostly salvageable. But the first contractor used â treated lumberâ that was questionable to build the foundation, which rotted completely. He also failed to space the deck boards which caused a massive drainage issue and had also failed to install flashing. The results were a collapsing deck, a sagging door, and a sinking floor. Joe was able to remediate every issue and even went a step further to remediate all of the other issues the faulty installation caused in the first place! Joe was reliable, easy to communicate with, and a great guy with a head full of knowledge. Iâ d highly recommend his service to anyone. I only wish Iâ d found Backyard Solutions sooner.

Shore up a support post on our deck and replaced a couple of boards. Very good work.

They were willing to do several smaller repairs on my 40 year old home that did not interest other contractors, and did the work as conscientiously as if it was a larger project.

Our deck and "friendship staircase" were in vast disrepair! Joe, Shannon, Carlos, Thad & David were a remarkable team. Attention to detail was outstanding! They completely power washed, refurbished, replaced boards as needed, painted and completed all tasks in two and 1/2 days, which was remarkable. Joe was a great communicator, making certain all our requests were fulfilled. We even asked for a STACK of his business cards as we will gladly refer his company to anyone. We'll be having him back for a future project.

This company does everything !!! Amazing work and professionalism. Very honest and always on time !! This company built a huge deck for us and even added a few custom cuts. Could not be happier !!

My large deck was in disrepair so badly. Needed some wood replaced, pergola repaired, power wash and stained. The deck is 10-12 feet off the ground, but they managed to do all the repairs, power wash and stain without an issue. What a great job they did. Very professional, reliable and such quality workmanship and affordable. They are definitely the company to go with for almost any job. I’m going to have them paint my ceilings next. Joe and his team were very professional, nice and courteous. We would highly recommend him for your project. Joe called me very soon after I placed a request on home advisor for deck repair. He came out a few days later to quote our project. We needed painting done to our deck floor, railings, steps and pergola. His quote was very reasonable and talking with him that day my husband and I knew we would love to work with him. Joe and his team quoted us 2 1/2 days for the job but due to bad weather it took 6 days. Not their fault at all though! Through the bad weather they came by to check the wood and kept communication open with us so we knew when they would continue the project. Our deck turned out beautiful! We did a two tone job and they did amazing work. They are hard workers, honest and so friendly! I would 100% recommend Joe and his team!

The deck needed some repair workâ not a big job, but a lot of troublesome details, fixing some wear and tear but also a previous carpenterâ s mistakes and omissions. Joe came, looked over the situation, and made a very reasonable bid based on materials and hours. When he and his partner came to do the work, however, they approached it with the eye of a master carpenter and artist combined. They were clearly interested in more than just doing a small, picky job. They wanted to bring that deck up to its full strength and beauty, no matter what it took. And they did that â ¦ on budget and in a timely manner. I could not be more grateful or happy with the outcome. Count me as a long-term fan. Merwyn Johnson
