+ -1 moreScott has been maintaining our fishpond beginning in 2006, which includes annual clean-out and other cleanings as needed. The original installer made some poor choices about the filtration system and Scott has replaced the pump and light bulb with better models and built a permanent backwash line. He gives guidance on maintenance, plant selection, fish selection, etc. As well as doing whatever else requires attention such as cleaning out the overflow valve or dividing plants. The original waterproofing is failing and we may already have to do a major overhaul of the pond, but we would feel comfortable working with Scott.
Description of Work: Our fish pond was installed in 2005 as part of a major landscaping project. We were looking for a person to help us with pond maintenance, plant selection, fish selection, and anything else relating to enjoying a pond. We spoke to a number of providers and selected Scott because of his personal attention and fair pricing. He charges $55 per hour and about $400-500 for a clean out, which takes many hours and depends on the size of the pond.
