AAA APPRAISAL CO INC

I made an appointment a week in advance for them to come to my house and examine the couch.  On the day of the appointment, I stayed home all afternoon - two hours after the appointment time they had not showed, so I called to see what had happened and she said that she had lost her appointment book and was just hoping that whoever she had appointments with would call and remind her.  So she came (another hour later) and examined the couch.  She took extensive notes and pictures and was very gracious and professional.  I paid her $300 for the appraisal, which she said I would have in 3 weeks time.  That was over 7 weeks ago now.  I have called her several times and she says that it is either "almost finished" or "is finished and needs to be mailed".  I am very frustrated and am also running up against the filing deadline with my moving company.  If I can now just get my appraisal, I would never do business with them again.

Update: After 10+ weeks and the threat of small claims court, we finally received our appraisal. It was very professionally written and organized. If it had not been such an ordeal to get the report, it would have been exactly what we paid for.
