HILLSIDE FUNERAL HOME

Hillside is hands down the best choice of a funeral home in Washington. We shopped a few other funeral homes in the area and this company is superior to all others on every point we used for evaluation.  They are absolutely the best funeral home and treat the family with calm dignity and understanding during all phases of their performance. I cannot say enough about how professional and courteous this business is during very stressful and emotional times.
The building is beautiful and spacious on the exterior - the flowers, grass, landscaping are immaculate. The exterior of the building is spotless. Inside is beautiful, clean and smells very nice (unlike most funeral homes). The rooms available for a memorial service are well apportioned, immaculate and tasteful.
Not only do they flawlessly perform their services,they give the family a huge packet that explains the next steps in closing out an estate and handling the mounds of upcoming paperwork. Afterwards they even gave a huge platter of food and dessert!
There is nothing more you could ask from a funeral home.  It is like the old adage - they swim like a duck ---- graceful and calm above the water where people can see yet under the water where you cannot see they move fast and effective to get results.
