Very efficient, worked quickly, and charged a fair price.  Unfortunately, he stopped communicating when I repeatedly tried to reach him to provided additional services.  I never again heard from him.  As I said to him in my last communication, I understand not having time to provide services, but there is no excuse for not communicating. Very unprofessional.

Excellent job,   Sometimes difficult to get in touch with as he is always very busy, but worth waiting for.   Very professional and extremely neat with his work.

Completely removed all popcorn ceiling material, removed all ceiling fixtures/fans and cleaned up perfectly!!!

I waited to write this review until after a painting company finished these ceilings, so I could get the painters' opinion of the drywall repair and finishing. The painters were amazed. The ceilings required NO additional preparation for painting and they look like a totally new professional installation. Jake Scott and his brother completed this job in ONE working day. They taped and draped plastic over all walls and floors to collect the debris, and cleaned up at the end of the day; the only evidence they had been in the house at all was the beautiful work they had done.
Jake Scott is the most amazing drywall contractor I have ever watched. These ceilings are vaulted from 8 feet to 18 feet, and Jake did most of the work on STILTS. Jake is a superbly-talented finisher and sander. I would say that his work went well above and beyond our expectations.
The company gets a "B" for responsiveness because it usually requires two or three phone conversations with Jake in order to get the free estimate and the actual date(s) of performance nailed down. I attribute this to the likelihood that Jake is extremely busy all the time--which doesn't surprise me. He needs a secretary to organize communication with his clients. Given the quality of his work, I really can't imagine using anyone else for drywall services.

Excellent! Jake and his employee came in one day and put up all the sheet rock and got the mud up n the wall. The next day Jake was here to do all of the sanding.

They cleaned everything up and they did an amazing job. They were in and out in about two days. They just did a great job. They have all the right equipment to do the job and they are very meticulous about planning and cleaning up their work. I would recommend them.

It was a good job. Jake and his crew came in and got the job done on schedule. They also cleaned up after they were done. His price was in line with the other quotes I got. All in all a good experience.

Jake has helped us twice: once with repairing a ceiling where a pipe leaked through and most recently with the job removing all the popcorn ceilings. We were impressed the first time with his reasonable prices and the quality of his work, so we hired him again when we bought a house with popcorn ceilings. His prices again were reasonable and the quality of he and his brothers' work was simply outstanding. I never thought I'd get excited about a ceiling, but the attention to detail in the work truly shows now that they're painted - smooth and clean like new. We also liked that he, his brothers, and helpers seemed to spend as much care on their work preparation and clean up as they did actually doing the work. At the end of each day, they cleaned up all their mess and showed up the next day right on time. My wife and I are delighted - Jake is our drywall guy going forward.
