TRADITIONS FINE PAINTING

Stephen's and his team arrived when they said - performed all work timely and results are incredible. Stephen helped us pick colors and we are really pleased. We have more painting to do and will always use Stephen and his team.

Steve and his crew did an absolutely wonderful job as usual. I have used him before in my previous home and have nothing but positive things to say. A very clean and well done job.

.This is not the first time that we have used them. Depending on what’s being done one to three people come to do the job. They have done an incredible job. We will definitely use them in the future.

We have used Traditions for years. Steve is a master colorist, perfectly matching existing colors and recommending brilliant accent colors. He is impeccably honest and fair. On more than one occasion he has shown me how I could save hundreds on a project, meaning less $ for him. We trust him to work in our home while away on vacation. He is meticulous and precise. No brush-over from color to color. Cleans up as he goes. I book him weeks in advance, and he is worth the wait, and sometimes works us in sooner than expected. Best tradesman we have ever hired.

We had used these guys previously at our other house prior to us joining Angies list. I am glad to be able to provide them a review now here. Steve operates a small painting company and likes to keep it that way, because "it allows me to take as much time as I need with my customers"..And he truly operates that way!! He spent significant time helping my wife pick out the colors. Came back over and did some test swatches of paint on the wall to allow her to see how the choices would actually look on the wall. And when she ended up not being pleased with one of the choices, came up with a really wonderful choice.
I am "a guy" and can't tell this flavor of grey, from that flavor of blue. But I can tell quality workmanship. Steve and his crew were meticulous in how they went about his work. They are picky about everything from how they draped the plastic over your furniture to how the wall plates look after they are put back on the wall after it's painted. The edging is perfect, the walls looks like the paint was put on at the factory that way (no apparent brush marks etc..). They found some bad caulking from the prior owners, and fixed that. Because "we want the edge to look right"..
Bottom line is I continue to be amazed at how wonderful a job they do.. The colors just work, and the wife is happy too :-) She left me to write this review and I was glad too!! Would recommend these guys to anyone.

I almost hate to say anything about Steve because he's THAT AMAZING and I don't want him to get so busy he doesn't have any time for our "emergency" phone calls anymore!
We bought a house back in April and called Ace Hardware here in Raleigh for a painter recommendation. They recommended Steve and he came out and gave us a quote for painting our Family Room and Kitchen - and he beat everyone else's quotes by HALF.
He showed up on the day he said he would, finished in one day and even painted the inside of my pantries after he called me and said that they were kind of grody from the previous owner and would I like him to just prime them so they looked nice and clean? Yes I would, Steve! And thanks for being a perfectionist and noticing!
It's guys like Steve that really make the first-home-buying experience so much more pleasant. We will use him again. And again. And again.

We have spent thousands of dollars with him for painting our whole home at different times. He was absolutely reliable, extremely creative and his work was impeccable. He took care of everything like moving everything before he painted. He didn't allow us to do that and did all that himself. He did put everything back after he painted. He did outstanding creative work on our tiles. He matched the switch plate and the outlet plate. He painted it such that it matched our backsplash tile. I can't say enough nice things about him. He was a very nice person besides everything. He was always prompt. He wasted no time when he did the work. He did an immaculate cleanup. I was very pleased with him.

Stephen painted it with three-coats of paint. He was very clean and always does immaculate work. I'm very particular, and he's just a total professional. His work is always perfect! He completed the work in one day! I had to wait for the service to start, due to him being in demand. He was upfront with the date he would start, and he was there the day he said he would. I have used their services many times, and will continue to do so!
