The week before our daughter's wedding! I remembered carpets needed cleaning before family arrived. We had used John in the past and I was thrilled to see him on Angie's list because I had lost his contact info. He arrived EXACTLY on time and did the three rooms in our home that needed cleaning. He was knowledgeable and professional --even getting down to sniff spots to determine the source of the stain--brave man! Carpets are quite old and well worn but he did a magnificent job and nearly two months later the carpets continue to look good and feel good underfoot. We will definitely continue to use John in the future for carpet cleaning. Oh, and bottom line, very,very affordable!

I had a great experience. John showed up on time, went over everything with me and got started. I left for work and he finished the work and locked the door after himself, which was a great help to me so that I didn't have to come back home in the middle of the day. When I checked on the carpet that night after work, there was no evidence of the stains at all! The carpets look fantastic - like new. A great job at a very reasonable price - I can't recommend him enough. We have an upholstered sofa that needs to be cleaned and plan to call him to do it.

John was very professional and takes pride in his work. He was very knowledgeable about different types of carpet and answered a lot of questions. He got down on his hands and knees to scrub out spots and even went over our living room with the steam cleaner twice! He also advised us that expensive Scotchguard or Teflon treatments would not adhere to our type of carpet. I have spent a lot of money over the years for that so I really appreciated John's honesty. He could have easily made more money off me by treating our carpet and charging me for it. I have been referring him to our friends and will be calling him again when we need our carpets cleaned.

I had started a do-it-yourself carpet cleaning and my carpet cleaner failed leaving me with wet carpet and no way to complete the job I had started. I called John Hurst Cleaning Service and John was able to come to my home within an hour to do a professional carpet cleaning. I am very fortunate that he was available to assist me in this emergency. The carpet looks great!
Needless to say, the next time I need my carpet cleaned, I will call John Hurst Cleaning Service and will definitely reccomend this company to my friends and family.

John did a great job, as he always does. He has done carpet cleaning for us for a number of years. He is very prompt and trustworthy and does a FANTASTIC job. He also explains how to care for the carpet and if there are areas that cannot be cleaned, he is careful to point them out BEFORE he does the job, and he explains why an area might not come clean. His prices are excellent, and I left him alone in my home to close up when he was done. Awesome in every way.

John showed up professionally dressed, then walked me though my home to see what I needed to be cleaned. He then took the time to explain the entire process and what he will be doing to the carpets, stairs, furniture and air ducts. He then pointed out every stain and how he will treat it and what to expect; he was very honest about this. Some stains just won't completely come out, but he reasured me, he will do his best. He then explained how the air duct systems works, how he will be cleaning the furniture and the rugs. He first cleaned the Air Ducts. Prior to cleaning the furniture, he came through the entire carpeted area with a pre-treatment spray. He took his time with furniture; a sofa and loveseat and did a thorough job. After he is finished with this, he began to lay out his equipment and to clean the carpets starting with the furthest part of my home and finishing out my front door. The carpet and stairs had uniform, perfect marks which show they have been cleaned thoroughly and the home smelled wonderful. After, John explained what needed to be done after and warns about being careful due to the carpets being wet. I had him clean my Oriental rugs also which he put outside on my banaster to dry. He cleaned up the area and left no trace that he was there. I received a receipt for his services and was able to pay with a check. After receiving his business card and thanking him; John left. My carpets were dry within an hour and I had no problems after. All stains were removed and did not reappear. Like I said; I would recommend John Hurst Cleaning Services to anyone who needs their carpets cleaned!
