While from a general perspective this builder did a decent job in constructing the home that gets completely obfuscated by the fact they they do NOT honor their warranty. From my perspective anyone who chooses not to stand behind the quality of their work cannot be trusted and should never be hired. All things considered I would recommend shopping for a different builder. Some of their sub contractors did good work while others practiced shoddy craftsmanship. Some of Homestead's business practices are good while others clearly lack probity and demonstrate untrustworthiness. With the quantity of reputable builders available in the area I see no reason to hire someone who knowingly and overtly chooses to not do what is right.
